Parkville Place Apartments

"I currently live here. They charge you for everything and the staff seem not to communicate well with each other. One of them would tell me one thing and another would tell me something else. They seem dead set on blaming damages of the property on tenets so they can keep the deposit money. It's says you can call from 8 am to 5pm but they don't even bother picking up before 10 am and stop picking up before 5. They take forever to fix anything you say is broken and treat you like an annoyance and a liar when you put your foot down. Thier emergency number and business hours number is the exact same. So if your heat is broken in the middle of winter at night you are not getting any help. Good luck. Dish waters are useless. I use them to rinse my dishes and it doesn't even do that well. There was a hole in my wall where an outlet is supposed to go. I'm sure they will blame that on me. They don't knock at least when they come in. When they have documents to give you they knock on the door, leave the paper and run away. I even got someone else's papers once and figured out they where about to be evicted because the paper was put on my door. A previous staff member still had the master key and was coming into single women's houses. Doing what I don't know. If you are late paying your bill because of something they did (like their website being down for over a month because they are updating it) you will be charged late fees. Which is 95$ each day you are late."

"Save yourself stress and frustration by not moving here. There's no professional manager here as I've been asking to speak to a manager since October and it's now September and I haven't heard from anyone. The only person I am ever able to talk to is Jo and she says she can't help cuz she's only a leasing agent and says Crystal the "manager" will contact me and she never has and is never available. I've asked to speak to corporate and they refuse to give me the info. I've even contacted corporate myself and never got a response. Now they are taking me to court for a balance that is incorrect from them over charging me then charging me a late fee since last October since I paid a partial payment which added up to what I already over paid. Of course a manager refused to help me with this issue, just want to steal my money. It also took 2 years to get a working stove and dishwasher and their excuse was its on backorder even tho the ones I got were used. I moved out and they are still charging me rent and late fees. I have everything documented and they still refuse to fix their mistake so we can peacefully part ways. Literally all I needed was a professional to help me with a simple issue and they've now made it a bigger issue then it had to be just because Crystal refuses to help the citizens even tho its technically her job as a "manager" to help people who need it. Not make their life more difficult for no reason. I know a number of people who live here and have had payment issues as well and can never get ahold of anyone who can actually help."

"Not a great place. They don't seem to have the budget to do the most basic things, like fix A/C in the summer, return phone calls (not that this takes money - just reliability), or repair a hole that they cut in someone's wall to see if there's a leak inside. They use bandaid fixes for the few things they do fix and raise rent way too often. Unsafe conditions and fire hazards abound. Crystal needs to go. Staff and residents alike agree. I RARELY leave negative reviews, so this one should speak volumes."

"My unit has had at least 10 problems since I moved in at the beginning of March 2023. Which has included raccoons putting holes in walls, flooding in the living room and bathroom, potential fire hazards from the dryer ventilation duct, and a few other various things. The unit wasn't even clean when I moved into it because there was dirt everywhere on the laminate floors, screws laying around on the carpets, construction debris in the bathtub, and giant dust bunnies hanging from the ceilings. Communications with the complex office is atrocious, and the office is closed 9 times out of 10 when I try to go by during what is supposed to be their normal office hours. And it's like pulling teeth to get them to finally fix anything, to which they hire awful contractors who can't seem to do their jobs correctly the first time. Don't waste your money on this apartment complex."

"I live here. The apartments are nice but the rooms are small. I came from an apartment where I had a sectional couch and a six-person dining room set that doesn't fit in the kitchen at all. It took almost 4 months before I got my washer and dryer that only worked for 2 weeks. And it took them another two months to come and pick it up. And the gentleman that came to pick it up came all the way from North Carolina just to take it back to the store here in Kansas City area only to head back to North Carolina after they were done. They were supposed to come and spray for bugs 2 weeks ago. I took off all day and no one showed up. It's a good thing I spray for myself!"
