Kings River Lodges by Rent R House

"There was more than enough room for our family, with plenty of hot water and privacy. The common areas allowed for our group to gather and visit, watch sports, and play board games brought with us. The environs encouraged outdoor walking to Kings River. Grocery stores were available nearby so that we could add to our provisions. We had a lovely time! The two kitchens were stocked with adequate numbers of dishes and cutlery for our crew, too."

"This is a first class cabin with wildlife galore, it was very peaceful surroundings. And the lake. Area is awesome for fun and fishing. I would strongly recommend the log cabins for a peaceful and memory filled vacation spot.,and close enough to Branson so the ladies could shop the near by Lil shop on the way to fun in Branson"

"First, the good... The house was modern, had plenty of bedding, a fairly well-stocked kitchen, and a nice layout. Maintenance was also quick to respond. Now the bad ..The stairs have been eroded and were splitting apart-- SUPER DANGEROUS! They told us they would be fixed before we arrived but hadn't been touched. They were also very dark at night. The light was out and we had to replace it with a light from a lamp, but even a better bulb would not have been enough to light the stairs. The railings (inside and out) were all very rickety. There was a shower head missing in one of the bathrooms and a broken toilet seat in another. How the cleaning crew didn't catch that, I have no idea. There are mice (we saw one scurry across the floor and run under the washer/dryer and would hear it in our room at night). The house was cleaned but there were still droppings behind beds, dressers, etc. that wouldn't be reached with a normal cleaning. The pool was GREEN and hadn't been cleaned in awhile. They did treat it for us after we called them, but it was never really clear. This wasn't a super big deal for us, but one of the dryers also wouldn't dry. Unless some improvements are made, I would not recommend staying here."

"The cabins are beautiful! The pool was perfect temperature. the hot tub was also the perfect temperature and being able to stargaze while sitting in it made for the perfect end to our day! All of the guests were very nice and very quiet. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone wanting a cabin on the lake!!"

"The lodge was the perfect size for the twenty of us that stayed July 5 - 12, 2016. We had plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. We brought our jet skis to play on Table Rock Lake and also went to Branson. The lodge is a great place for family reunions. The kitchen on each floor was adequate in what we needed to cook. However, I am a fan of the show "Hotel Impossible" which airs on the Travel Channel and since I watch the show, it has made me aware of what the Lodge was lacking in. There is Wi-fi, but it was very slow. It moved at glacier speed. The bathrooms were clean, but the place overall needs a good dusting. The ceiling fans are coated in dust and the logs inside are white with dust. The tall windows really needed a good cleaning. All of this could have been done during the winter off season. The towels and bed linens are provided, but the towels are mismatched and in the bathroom we were using, there were only 2 washcloths. Most of the bathrooms had no washcloths and those other bathrooms that did were so stained that we didn't want to use them. Upon departure guests are to strip their beds and place the sheets and towels in the hallway by the washer/dryer. You are to leave the comforters, pillow shams and blankets in the bedrooms which tells me that they are not washed between guests. This is unacceptable. This property is good, but it could be so much better. When I pay to stay somewhere, and pay a lot, I expect it to be as good as home or even better."
