Cox Monett Hospital

"I went to the ER after my GP did not fill my pain medication for chronic back pain before she left to go to another clinic. Monett clinic said I was no longer their patient even though I never told them that in writing or over the phone. They would not let me see another doctor in their clinic either. Arriving at the ER, my blood pressure was dangerously high. I explained what happened and they did give me a weaker version of my medication for the weekend. I never saw a doctor and my blood pressure was up to 256/133. They never addressed my blood pressure and told me if I broke my leg and came to the ER, they would not give me anything for the additional pain because I already take pain meds. I was released to go home with my blood pressure that high with some of the most unsympathetic, judging hospital staff that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I told them if I collapsed on the floor, they would step over my dead body and continue to not service other patients."

"Don't get MRI services here, I lived in cassville at the time, thought I would save gas money getting it closer. Huge mistake!!! They charged over a thousand dollars for my MRI. I even have Medicare. To prove it, I just got my bill from Springfield Cox center it was $430, with Medicare, I only have to pay $14. I was told because they are rural they can charge what they want. Spare yourself and just drive to Springfield."

"I had to take mom to the ER this morning and everyone was so good. Professional, caring, considerate, and helpful. The RN, Lisa, was helpful to us and the other workers. Brooke was very attentive and helpful to mom when she needed anything. The others there were very good as well. I appreciate people who do their job with a smile and are good at it. Cox Monett should be the example of any ER at any hospital."

"I had called the clinic 2 days ago for my baby girl as she was very sick . Even though they were booked all the way into January that wasn't going to stop Mrs. Debbie from getting my daughter in . She told me what to do . And I was able to get my daughter checked out that following morning at 9! Doctor Bridget , Mrs. Debbie , and the nurses were honestly very professional, very sweet , very caring to me and my daughter ! We were in and out in less then an hour with answers , and medicine for her. This morning she is back to being my happy go lucky baby girl . I seriously want to thank the cox team for being just such amazing people! Oh and we can't forget Dr twambly she is the best obgyn you will ever go to!!!!"
