"First off, this area is just stunning! Wildlife all over the place! The service was the best I have ever had and it wasn't from one person, but from every person I had dealings with! The rooms were great and very clean. We ate at 3 different restaurants there and everything was great. But the best part of this was the people! Hands down, the best service I have seen."

"Check in is a real problem. We were told 2 different times and the first was wrong so it made it later to get into our room. I do not like the fact that check in is 3 or 4 but you have to leave by 11. There should be an earlier check in in my opinion. If you do not like seeing butchered and stuffed dead animals everywhere on the walls you might avoid coming here. It is like staying in a Bass Pro Shop. The grounds are very nice and the staff was very nice. The restaurants are very expensive and did not impress me much. When I booked I was not told about the 35 dollar per day resort fee. I saw it on the receipt. I would probably have cancelled the reservation but saw the 100 dollar charge if cancelled so we did go. I thought this was a place for families but it is a place with their hands out wanting money."

"Amazing!!! Love this resort. I just wish bathrooms were updated They are a bit out dated. Also, the carpet in the room I wish it was some sort of wood Other than that loved it. Would definitely come back."

"Arrived at Big Cedar Lodge today! . ~ We are so lucky to be able to come here ❤️. Johnny Morris is a true visionary. If you have an opportunity to visit one of his “dreams” you absolutely should. We already have a short stay booked again in March. I truly believe this is a little slice of heaven on earth. To add to the excitement of escaping the cold of home, a quick getaway ~ we started the day in the Buzzard Bar with some locals as well as travelers like ourselves at the bar enjoying a favorite of the restaurant Brisket Nachos, an AFC win by the KC chiefs ( we are going to the Super Bowl again) and ended with a caramel gooey butter carrot cake that delicious doesn’t begin to do it justice. We went back to our cabin, built a fire, stayed up past midnight and reveled once again how lucky we were to be nestled in Big Cedar Lodge. ❤️"

"Wow, wow and wow!! I'm just absolutely blown away by this stunning resort. Our family had decided to spend the Christmas holidays here and I'm so glad we did. We are still here for a few more days and we are already thinking about our next visit. We had booked the 2 bedroom cabin which is absolutely gorgeous. Beautifully decorated and what is more capturing is the Christmas tree inside. The cabin is spacious with 2 bedrooms with king size beds in both. 2 bathrooms, a full size kitchen with everything you need in it, a living room and a nice deck overlooking the resort with a BBQ. I highly recommend using the shuttle as it makes it more easier to get around on the resort. The Chapel, gym, spa restaurants and so much more is located on the resort. Since we are here for Christmas, "EVERYTHING" is Christmassy around here and we love it. Thank you big Cedar for the refreshments and snacks that were in our cabin upon arrival. It definitely was a nice added touch. Merry Christmas and thank you for helping us make lasting memories. we can't wait to be back!!"
