Days Inn by Wyndham Carthage

"Possibly the worst Days inn I've ever stayed at, funky weird dilapidated room with cigarette burned bathtub, filthy and broken trim, and in the morning when I went for a quick coffee and breakfast before I leave it was so nasty I didn't even drink the coffee or even touch the food, the hallways looked like it hasn't been vaccumed in days or maybe weeks with visible material in the Carpets. Do not stay at this hotel go to something else nearby. I only stayed because I was too tired to drive on to Joplin or Tulsa.."

"We stayed here and they took a credit card for incidentals. They said the card wouldn’t be charged as long as the cleaning lady says the room was good and we didn’t smoke in it. We don’t smoke and we checked in at 8pm and checked out at 5:30am. We get home and noticed we was charged the incidental fee and it was deducted from our bank account. We called and they said to check with our bank because they refunded the money. We checked with our bank and they said NO the hotel didn’t refund that money. This hotel is a scamming hotel!!! They charge a room fee but then scam you on the incidental fee!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!!! SCAMMER ALERT!!!!!"

"We stayed here after attending basic training graduation in Oklahoma. We checked in at 8:00pm knowing we were checking out by 5:00-6:00am the next morning to make the rest of our drive home. Our credit card was swiped for incidentals since I paid for our room online. I was told after the room was cleaned the next morning the $60 incidentals HOLD on our account would fall off. Well over a month has went by and we still don’t have our $60 back. It’s no longer a hold it’s a deduction. I called and called getting the run around from the manager. They are nothing but SCAMMERS!!! Please do not fall for there scams. SHAME ON YOU!"

"The room was good for the price, but does need some touching up. The room was clean and the front desk person was extremely friendly and helpful. There are some restaurants and a gas station just a few blocks away and was right off the highway which made for easy on and off the highway."

"I stay here regularly. The pool and hot tub are open until 10:45 p.m. you do have to ask for towels but they are very helpful and get you whatever you need. They even have signs in the rooms that say missing something? please ask us we would be happy to help. They have tooth brushes and toothpaste, combs razors shave cream. All you have to do is make a request. Make your own waffles for breakfast. Biscuits and gravy! Cinnamon rolls and yogurt even quaker oatmeal! I have traveled a lot over the years and as of late for the price at Days inn Carthage MO. I wish I could say there were more like it out on the road. For a budget hotel they are friendly, have more than most, and it's always operational. Hot tub has jet settings on the wall for as long as you set the timer for. Pool is always clean. I hope this helps for anyone looking for an affordable stay."
