"Do not stay here!!!! I called was told they had a handicap room, when I got there no handicap rooms. I am in wheelchair, needed it. Then my friend checked out a 9:30 am hour and half before check out they would not refund his money for second night which he ended up not needing to stay ( no refunds at all, no matter what) and now a week later I have a charge for another $100 on my card I am having to fight about! Don't stay they will take you for everything they can!!!"

"We took a group of kids over for a few days. It's shady and a nice private place to camp. Fairly flat terrain and most of the campsites are together in one area with a few spaced out around the loop. For our group, it was hard to allow kids to swim at the campground due to the trees planted along the shore for fish cover. They do serve their purpose though because my son caught some fish along the bank. We bussed our kids to the beach to swim. There are a lot of rocks and sticks, not as many grassy areas as some of the group camp sites. Still, it worked for what we needed. The 2 flushing bathrooms were an appreciated upgrade."

"The owner came at us cussing and screaming in front of our 7 kids because someone in our group was bringing the boat in and had to keep the boat higher than idle because of a carb issue. We do not recommend ever coming to this place . Very disrespectful especially after we ask him to not talk like that in front of all out kids!"

"I've never seen campground hosts act like MILITARY PERSONNEL. The woman with glasses verbally assaulted me in front of my kids. Corps of engineers should be ashamed giving Trash like that power to abuse. Besides the two crazies thats been there 3 years I absolutely love this area and it even offers horseback riding. For group camping it can't get better well maybe the price but i definitely recommend group camping here"
