"Hands down THE BEST egusi I’ve ever had! I should’ve called my order in BUT it was so worth the wait thank you again Update: it’s amazing while hot but me going home it cooled down and has an extra sweetness to it. I’m not a huge fan of sweet and savory"

"Everything I ordered from here was a 10/10! The red snapper was big and very meaty! I haven’t found a place that had any like this in a while! The okra soup was really great! It had fish, chicken and goat in it! If you’re a vegan or vegetarian I’m pretty sure they can accommodate you. The pepper and the spicy sauce were a 10/10! If you’re not a fan of very hot food stay clear of the spicy sauce it’s very hot! I highly recommend giving this place a try and I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. The owner is SO sweet! She had a smile on her face the entire time we talked. Heads up the restaurant is on a side street, so the parking isn’t the best. I would park on Independence Ave."

"This is the best West African restaurant I been too. The food reminded me of my Liberian mother’s cooking. The food at Angie’s is filled with love and soul. It simply the best. Definitely will be back for more."

"The owner is a delight, and the food is fantastic. I had the fried chicken and jollof rice, and am looking forward to trying the torborgee and cassava leaf on future visits."
