"Very clean store & they have a variety of items at reasonable prices."

"I don’t know if this would be considered store level or corporate but we bought furniture at the store, signed up for the rewards program knowing that we would be buying mattresses at a later date and was told we could enter our receipt and get a percentage off as well as an amount with the large purchase we just made. I tried entering the receipt on the BL website and an error kept popping up. I went in the store for help and they referred me to the customer service hotline (which I get). I called the customer service number and was told they can give me a $20 coupon but that’s all I will get because it looks like we paid $0 on their side….(i hit the ceiling, i was so upset) and was then promised a $50 off coupon off future furniture but no percentage off (like we were promised) due to the error they were seeing on their side. Even after me telling him I have the receipt with all the info on it they would need to see how much we paid! So not only did we not get what we were promised but he did not enter my receipt for the rewards in the reward program. He told me he was sorry but that was all they can do…not great customer service if you ask me. Looks like they just lost another large purchase of bed sets and mattresses due to the lack of customer service the “customer service hotline” provided."

"I made a quick trip to Big Lots in search of a clock. I had gone in a few other stores, in the area, to shop for clocks. This site had the best selection and variety. Additionally, the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Check-out was smooth and speedy. I was able to make my purchase and be on my way in a timely manner."

"Very impressed with this store! Super clean shelves and store. Friendly staff. The new store layout design resembles IKEA in a lot of ways with a heavy focus into furniture. There’s still plenty of aisles that you would expect in a normal Big Lots where the size of the building really works well. I usually stray from Big Lots. But this was a pleasant surprise!"
