"Paul’s has been a favorite for many years. Sad to say that since the ownership change it is very disappointing. Myself and coworkers have been there twice in the last 2 months. The most recent trip we were served food cooked in renascent cooking oil. You could taste that that the oil was simply old and bad. The attached sign was posted on the door while we in the restaurant. The oil was old it was not bad from a supplier. The previous trip we were served milkshakes that were soured and tasted like they were made with soured milk. After returning them we were served a second one that was the same. The service is less that friendly and the facility is deuterating rapidly. None of this is an exaggeration. I’m out. Can not imagine ever stepping foot in this restaurant ever again. Enter at your own risk."

"Food was pretty good just a few years ago even. But this last year or so has been a show. Soggy nasty fries, tots, burgers. It’s ALL bad."

"Typical price for fast food, about 20 bucks for two people. Customer service was very bad, the guy kept asking is that all after each thing and we only ordered two burgers and two sides but we went there about 7:30 pm so that was no big deal. Got the food they forgot my wife's sauce, no big deal we got sauce at home. Tasted the fries they were fresh, things were looking good got home took a bite of the burger and it tasted like cleaning supplies or bleach. I was excited to support a small buisness, but I will never go back."

"This place was recommended by a more tenured KC citizen than myself, as they told me they have been coming here their entire life. I take those words seriously with burgers.... It's not bad! Pretty good burger, though I did expect a bigger sandwich. I thought the onion rings were excellent, though I am not sure they are fully prepared on site. The fountain drink tasted a little flatter than one should expect. I would go back for another try. It's definitely better than most chain hamburgers, and more expensive. I'd be interested in how the rest of the menu tastes. It's old school greasy, if you like that sort of food."

"The food was fairly good, pretty salty, but had some good flavor. The service was great, the people were super friendly and the food came out quickly. The tenderloin was good, not super big, but very salty. The burgers were good. Their sauce that came on the sandwiches was tasty. It's a similar joint to Hi-Boy though I would recommend driving the extra 20 minutes to go to Hi-Boy."
