"Beautiful restaurant, well lit, quiet, comfortable & spacious seating. The food presentation is beautiful as well. You can dress up or down, it all depends on whether you are celebrating something special or just having a casual lunch, dinner, or date night. The steak filet and mashed potatoes were good, the shrimp was EXCELLENT, and their fish is DELICIOUS. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. He had a great personality & sense of humor, which was nice. I enjoyed this restaurant."

"5 stars across the board. In my 8 day visit to KC, I visited Pierpont twice: once for brunch and for once for dinner. The customer service is exquisite and trained at the highest standards (which makes a pleasure to leave even a bigger tip). Special mention to Alex who waited our table. Thank you, you are the best! It's historical for the city, it is located inside the train station which is a massive building and probably serves more foodies than travellers (not that many travellers by train). Returning to the food: I have tried between 6 and 8 different dishes and everything was delicious. My favorites are the French toast and the chicken with biscuit. Delighted by the crab bisque and the ube cake. I am not into cocktails and spirits but they have a big selection of whiskey and more."

"Pierponts is our favorite restaurant in KC. It’s located inside Union Station which is beautiful and has so much to do. The bar and drinks are amazing. We had our rehearsal dinner there 2 years ago and they were so helpful and nice. Last night we went again for Restaurant Week and they had a great selection. 3 courses for $55. The bread they give you is fresh and amazing. The service is incredibly wonderful. Every server we’ve had there goes above and beyond. Highly recommend this restaurant anytime you’re in KC or just want a really good dinner."

"We came as a party of 7 and had great service while we were here. We could only manage an appetizer for the whole table and our mains before we were out of stomach space - so be assured they don't skimp on portions. Mains for 5 people came to $300, not counting wine and the appetizer. You do have to present ID to be allowed to drink here, so come prepared."

"I ordered a coffee and chili rubbed Kansas City strip with baby green beans and Yukon Gold potatoes and extra side of woodland mushrooms. I was thoroughly impressed with the flavor and quality of the entire meal. (Also an appetizer of fresh oysters 1/2 dozen west coast and 1/2 dozen East Coast). Furthermore the service was awesome, James our waiter was on point with making sure we had everything we wanted."
