Sonic Drive-In

"This location is one of the worst I’ve been to. I’ve lived and visited many different states/cities with sonic and I’ve never had such trouble. We ordered a cheese burger with adding lettuce and tomatoes. The first burger I was served had an animal hair in it. Like a dog or cats hair is what it looked like. I called and asked them to make me a new one. They did but forgot my lettuce and tomato. At that point I just wanted to leave. Drink are always good there but for some reason all the drinks tasted horrible and my milk shake was so runny!"

"I ordered a number one and they did not put cheese on the burger it had ketchup and mayo when it was suppose to only have mayo and the tots was old and nasty. My son's buger was old and nasty as well as his tots. Threw it all away and went to McDonald's instead. Will not be going back to this location would rather drive to Excelsior Springs Sonic next time."

"We rarely eat fast food but when we do, it is always Sonic. I'm giving this 5 stars and positive review but the second part will be a negative experience from yesterday, but our first negative experience ever. About a month ago a male car hop brought us our food and my daughter's "plain hotdog nothing on it" was actually a "fully loaded hotdog". The car hop apologized, went inside and got a new one himself, came back out with extra peppermints for our daughter. He got a fat tip. You could tell he really appreciates having a job and takes it seriously. Sonic has been very reliably with very friendly staff and consistent food. With that said, on 1/10/24 in the early afternoon we ordered two hickory burgers that were simply not edible. So dry and maybe a single bite's worth of hickory sauce. I'm not sure how someone could do such a poor job at making a cheeseburger without it being intentional. Hopefully they were just having a bad day."

"My wife and I eat there once a week or so, but I have to say after this evening, it really makes me question how much attention they are giving to their food. When I got home, the chicken sandwich didn't have chicken on it and my cheeseburger was barely warm. I called, had to go back (5 miles) wait in line 10 minutes to get a real chicken sandwich. The attendant at the window was nice and offered me a free drink. But doesn't make up for making two trips for something that should be so simple."

"Driving through for a basketball game. Made a quick stop for dinner here. Ordered the footlong chili dog with onions. Onion rings and the garlic butter bacon cheeseburger. The garlic butter bacon cheeseburger was heavenly! They need to keep this on their permanently! By far the best thing we ate!"
