The atmosphere is welcoming, and the overall experience deserves 5 stars across the board. Highly recommend for anyone seeking quality martial arts instruction."

"I rarely will write any reviews. As a senior child and adolescent sport psychiatrist I have been very critical of many youth sports experiences. Master Ha and Yong-In TKD is a true gem in our community. 15 years ago my youngest son attended a summer camp at Yong-In. Unlike his 2 older brothers who played many sports, he did not enjoy his youth sports experiences. Soccer, baseball, basketball, all were too chaotic and stressful. After a week with Master Ha he was hooked and studied with Master Ha for 6 years until high school activities, earning 3rd degree black belt. Observing his progress his mother and I began studying with Master Ha (with my son as one of my instructors). I have been studying TKD at Yong-In regularly for 13 years. I hope to continue for many more years. For adults, the training, both mentally and physically continues to improve strength, balance, flexibility, and mental agility. It is a true exercise in humility. For children, Master Ha's unique and special coaching style and personality help to develop confidence and self esteem that comes from hard work and acknowledged success. Growth and improvement are emphasized. Each student feels seen and valued. The training process is very developmental and all students (including adults) progress at their own rate. Master Ha works well with young children, adolescent champions, and seniors (like me). He provides opportunity for team building, social engagement, self awareness. If one is interested in competition, he has trained the best and takes students to national championships. Together with Master Ha, we developed an effective psychotherapy group for children with psychiatric disorders. Master Ha teaching and guidance during these family based group therapy sessions were critical in the success of our efforts (before the pandemic). I can not more strongly recommend Yong-In Taekwondo to anyone of any age seeking a martial arts experience to build the body, mind, and spirit. David Conant-Norville MD DLFAPA DFAACAP"

"My son has been going here for years. He has just gotten his Black Belt. Grand Master Ha and his team are fantastic. Going here is joining a family. As cheesy as that usually sounds, it’s true here. Students are taught to work together. They learn leadership as they move up. Don’t get me wrong, Grand Master Ha is at most classes. He is teaching in most classes I have seen. He was teaching my son, personally, when he was a 4-5 year old, and still does 10 years later. This place has top level instruction and attention from the Grand Master. I can’t recommend Yong-In enough. Thank you Grand Master Ha and your whole team!"
