"My wife has macular degeneration which has resulted in low vision so she can no longer ride a bike. Since my wife and I are both avid bicyclists, the natural answer was to get a tandem. We borrowed a friends tandem and determined we were compatible on a tandem. We had both already graduated to e-bikes so we sent shopping for a tandem e-bike. There were a few cruiser style e-bikes available but very few performance e-bikes. New World eBikes popped up on a Google search. I sent an e-mail inquiry to James Kammeyer at New World eBikes and after several e-mail exchanges and phone calls, I placed an order for a Gepida Thoris Voyager XT Tandem eBike - Performance CX, Dual Battery. James shipped the bike to my son’s business in northeast Iowa. James had packed the bike extremely well and it arrived in great shape. All I had to do was make a few adjustments to match settings on our old e-bikes and we were set to go. The bike arrived in late June, 2023 and after I corrected a few brake issues with the help of James by way of e-mail instructions, we were on our way by the second week of July, 2023. We have racked up almost 2,000 miles since them. The Gepida Thoris Voyager XT11 is an awesome tandem bike. The front suspension coupled with the suspension seat post I added for my wife makes for an extremely comfortable ride for both of us. Northeast Iowa is in the Driftless region so we have lots and lots of hills. The Gepida tandem has been up to the task. Even with the hills, I am able to get 80 - 100 miles out of each charge. New World eBike and James Kammeyer were life savers for us. Their products and service are second to none."

I give the Gepida XT10 tandem a full five star rating because it not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. We have found it to be just as competent on hard top surfaces as it is on the various Rails-To-Trails surfaces we've been on, and elevation is no longer a concern. We couldn't be happier with our new e-tandem. I would also like to give a five star rating to James, for his exceptional customer service, and attention to detail. I can truly say that I have never experienced any better customer service from any organization I have dealt with, bar none!
