"Love this store, love the service. First time I went in there, about 3 years ago, I was inquiring about the process of purchasing a suppressor. One of the guys behind the counter spent a good hour chatting with me about the whole process, while knowing full well that I had no intention of buying anything that day. Fast forward to today: I had previously purchased a CETME-LC and upon test firing it was mildly disappointed that it failed to eject almost every single time. Some googling showed similar experiences. The CETME (a roll-delayed-blowback action) requires quite a bit of break-in and generally prefers HEAVY loads. I mentioned that I was having trouble with my CETME to one of the guys behind the counter and he immediately knew why this is happening, spoke knowledgeably about the CETME operating system and pretty much confirmed my suspicions about the care and feeding of the weapon system. Between these two times I have been in there many times, making several purchases and have been treated fairly and with respect every single time. In summary: good selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff, not pushy with great customer service."

"Well I lost track of how many times I've been in this place, too bad they don't offer punch cards! I always find the staff helpful and the customer service is exemplary. I have bought several firearms related items and been satisfied every single time. There isn't a single person staff member that I haven't been satisfied with. Prices are competitive, stock is usually pretty well. COVID has made every ones stock pretty much disappear. This place is one of the few gun/ fishing related stores in Eugene so support them well!"

"I've shopped here a number of times, the staff has always been helpful and receptive. In particular, the gunsmith Erik McCluskey helped me build my AR. I had spent ~a year specing out each part and exhaustively researching each part. Over half of the parts I had purchased online, but he was totally cool with it. I believe that people bring in all types of stuff to the build table at mazama's. Erik walked me through every little step and made sure everything was perfect. He was very complementary of what I had picked out, reassuring me that everything was going to work together. This wasn't a milspec build, everything was upgraded. The upper/lower/handguard/buffer were all Aero Enhanced, CMC trigger, Hogue grip, BA Henson .223wyld stainless barrel, and a push button safety switch. Despite all being good quality name brand stuff, the barrel needed some polishing to fit into the upper. I'm so glad I didn't try to put together myself at home, because this would've stopped me dead in my tracks. Erik shrugged and took it in the back and had it ready to slide in, within minutes. All in all, my experience was really positive, and my rifle is perfect. I've run ~500rds through it with zero problems. I'd have shot more but ammunition is tricky to find right now with all this covid madness. This is the first gun I've ever built, but certainly not the last. I'm already picking out parts for a pistol build."
