"DO NOT RENT FROM OREGON BAY PROPERTIES LLC! I am rejecting this response from Oregon Bay Properties LLC because When the linoleum was first installed at the rental, the person who put the refrigerator in caused a crease in the linoleum that was embedded on the right side of the refrigerator peg so when the refrigerator was moved to remove a rat it cause a small tear. The Kitchen floor linoleum 7-inch tear by the refrigerator was due to a rat getting stuck and dying in the back of the refrigerator. The rental had an ongoing rat infestation throughout the 4 years I rented the home. The rats lived in the walls and under the floors of the rental. The subfloor damage Oregon Bay Properties also claims to be a bowling ball dropped on the floor is incorrect, The subfloor damage was due to the rats tearing at the cheap mobile home subfloor wood. Oregon Bay Properties only sent an exterminator the first year I lived in the rental and after continuous issues with rats and complaints to Oregon Bay Properties regarding them, they stopped responding to my emails. I had to move the refrigerator to remove the dead rat ( see attached photo's) I sent these photos to Oregon Bay Properties on Oct 29 2021 who said they sent an exterminator out. and they never did after several requests. There was only one small hole in the basement where a rat chewed through the wall to come in and out of the basement and back into the wall. The painted walls Oregon Bay Properties said were all gunged up is totally false and they should not have charged me to paint the entire inside of the house including the ceilings. The rental had a lot of normal wear and tear like the kitchen faucet that they claim was broken. the faucet had a plastic top that snapped off because it was cheap. The toilette seat was not broken. The Bathroom tubs were always scratched up and fixed with cheap coughing before I moved into the rental. I lived in the rental for 4 years so of course there is going to be normal wear and tear. The owner of the rental just wanted the house to look brand new with fresh paint. Oregon Bay Properties and Michelle Cantrell even told me they wanted to replace the bathroom tubs before I moved in because they were so old and scratched up but the owner of the house did not want to pay to do this. Now they want me to pay for it. Wear and tear simply refers to the normal deterioration that occurs as a result of day-to-day living in a property. This can include things like minor scuffs and marks on walls, worn carpet, worn bench tops, loose hinges or handles, chips or cracks here or there, and fading paint. Also, Oregon Bay Properties did a walk-through of the home while I was still living there and checked every part of the house including outside the rental, and found nothing I needed to repair or fix. They did see the damage on the outside eve in the back of the house they claimed I did not report it and said they would get it fixed. Sincerely, Vivian Mack"

"My mother in law absolutely did NOT damage that property it was kept clean and maintained when she was there the rodent problem is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, and let’s not forget to mention that you charged me and chase oniell 1900$ each as well as my husband on all of our Credits for damages that were already present at time of moving including, broken laundry room window which was reported to you, broken bedroom window, also reported to you , not to mention you did not contact us and let us know that 1964 Meade had a roach problem!!! That we had to take care of ourselves and did not get rid of for 5 months. You also tried to blame us for THE BASEMENT FLOODING when it was raining and coming from under the house…….. you are scamming people out of their money the only damage that was left behind at 1964 Meade was a hole in first bedroom door and the bottom of the door was chewed up and mold in the closet that is out of our control, some things left behind"

"We moved in 2 years ago. We did a walk thru with Michelle and wrote everything that was wrong with the place also including the fact that the carpet was disgusting and was told they needed to replace it but never did. They did shampoo carpet. We paid 1700 security deposit. We asked multiple times for repairs to be done and when they were done it took weeks or not at all. We finally had to start doing repairs ourself. We gave proper notice. House was spotless, way better than when we moved in. We are being withheld our security deposit because of carpet needing to be replaced plus some. Stating there are stains and urine coming thru the black light. My brother lives right next door to the home and states all they did was shampoo carpet that no carpet was ever replaced. Yet we’re being charged. She said there were unreported property damage. Says we never turned in a new walk in form. Yet it was her that was with us when we first walked thru and it was her that was writing everything down. Says she doesn’t have any of that paper work. Maybe she needs to be better at filing. Advise. Don’t rent from them. They only care about money and screwing ppl over."

"*Review written after the fact due to fear of retaliation. While my husband and I were searching for a new place in the area we happened upon a few these guys had and seemed promising. With that said we filled out our apps and left them at the office until we found the right place. Turns out they don't work that way, despite telling us that was fine and a good way to go since we didn't have a specific place in mind yet. Twice we only had to have them run our credit and background checks only to be lied to and hear "oh the other couple just left and filled their apps out and turned them in before you did... right. Ours were sitting in their office just waiting to be handled and we called the office to have them do just that as soon as we got in the car after seeing the place and left before the other couple did. So how had someone else beat us to it when we went so far as to ask where we were in order of apps on the place we where going to look at before we drove there? (There were no apps on that place at the time of the call) Good question right? Yeah, the office gal was so shocked by the lie she physically took a step back and looked at her boss with her mouth agape, not that he seemed to noticed or care for that matter. Next he told us about another place that might suit our needs, albeit very reluctantly. We saw it and applied for that one as well only to meet a similar end. Fed up with such a disgusting level of dishonesty that was not even thinly veiled, we went with another realtor who understood what self respect and honesty are about. You should do the same thing, avoid this place."
