Oak Tree Apartments

"This place will take your deposits and charge you for every little thing that happens. I was in a DV case and they still charged me for things that I should not of been charged for. I also received rental assistance during the COVID-19 and when I gave my 30 days notice they still took it for the full month of August, 2021. Then charged me for the mold clean up that was under the carpet and under the linoleum. How was I supposed to know it was under it, I didn't have super vision to see through it. The blinds are cheap as can be and break very easily. They will then turn around and charge you for the replacement. This place is the worst place to rent from. I would stay clear if you want to lose your deposits. I will never rent from a Carla Properties ever again. They are a money hungry corporation."

"If you are 18-33 do not live here. I have been born and raised in Oregon, have lived in 7 different apartments. Never had the issues I did here. Molding entered my bathroom by 2 months in. I was scrubbing my ceiling of mold every two weeks. It came back, it was gross to live in. Water was shut off in my building for almost 24 hours to fix something. Loud machinery would wake me up at 6-7am without notice before hand and someone who works till 2 am this was god awful. I stayed at friends and families for about 5 months of the year I lived there. My neighbors were jerks. Used a echo speaker and was threatened my first night living there for noise. I would never ever recommend anyone to live here. Gave about a 2k deposit to get in, and they gave me $100 back. This place is a joke. Not a home. I had problems with my washer and dishwasher first month in. They replaced my dishwasher and charged me for the floor damage that was done by a maintenance worker. Have fun living here for $1800. If that wasn’t enough living off Durham is a nightmare during high school hours. Seriously. Can take 20 min to get down the street to hall. During 7:50am-9am, and 3-5pm. Then if a train passes sometimes they break down and you are late just getting on the freeway to i5. I’d recommend anywhere else but here."

"I really like living at Oak Tree -- the management is wonderful, they have gone out of their way to assist my mom and I who both live here. The wetland view is top notch. The landscaping is pretty and the buildings are well maintained. They recently replaced all the windows which makes my apartment so snugly warm in winter and cool in the summer. The older units have the best cross ventilation plus there's a walk in shower for my mom which is so helpful. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an affordable, clean and safe place to live."

"I have lived in these apartments for several years. It has always been a great place to live. Management and maintenance are always quick to respond to any issues. There are places that are less expensive, but they are not as nice as these apartments. And after the recent remodel, it is even better. Decent price and nice place to live. I have been fortunate to have great neighbors and no issues with anyone around me. I would and have recommended these apartments to others."

"Oak Tree has been our best living experience thus far. Oak Tree staff seem to truly care about their tenants. The office ladies are sweet and helpful. The maintenance guys are pretty cool and have an excellent response time. The people in the community are just wonderful and incredibly friendly. They are upgrading the units and they look so nice! The entire wall to the living and dining room is basically two big windows and a sliding glass door so there is a LOT of natural sunlight and a gorgeous view of the forest!! The amenities (galore!) and PRICE cannot be beat in this area. Best of all, you have quick trail access to Cook Park off 108th! 2 miles to Templeton Elementary/Twality Middle and 1 mile to Tigard High. Walking distance to Cook Park (& the balloon festival and fire-works!), Safeway, Grocery Outlet, and 3 miles to the Tigard Library."
