"Since we were made to change pharmacies cause the one we were using closed we were ok till lately..The techs are normally pretty nice except this one guy... I was asking about a medicine that was going to be out tomorrow and he went off on me about me calling them.. I understand how busy they are,but if I talked to a customer like he did I would had a warning or lost my job... We had to respect the customer no matter what..."

"No one answers the phone here or knows how to properly fill prescriptions, which is weird since that is their only job. I changed to a different pharmacy and had my meds in a few hours. Do not give this pharmacy your time or money."

"We switched to this Walgreens location from the Commercial St location hoping they were actually capable of being a pharmacy only to discover this was just asking too much. It takes literally weeks to get a prescription filled here. Our last experience was trying to fill a prescription for a very common inhaler for our son's asthma that took 3 weeks and a TON of phone calls to get filled. Luckily his asthma isn't bad enough that he was in danger of dying during this time, but we did have to reschedule a follow-up appointment with his doctor to see how he was doing on the new medication after a month, since he's only been able to take it for a week. As I sated in my review for the Commercial St location, I don't think this is a unique problem to this Walgreens location. It's a symptom of the way that the corporate leadership of Walgreens has chosen to prioritize profitability over everything else. There's just nowhere near enough staff in the pharmacy, and the people that do work there seem like they're constantly dealing with way, way too much work, but are past apologizing for it. Sadly, the best pharmacy experience I've had recently was at Wal-Mart of all places. the experience there put Walgreens to shame."

"The only way to ensure my prescriptions are filled is if I physically show up. I was on hold twice and hung up on twice for a total of 60minutes on hold this morning. They should not be doing vaccines if they can't handle regular prescription orders. It's immoral at this point how hard it is to get medications. Not blaming the understaffed workers, but upper management is obviously more concerned about profit than ensuring the pharmacy is well staffed and properly run. So many people here are not getting their prescriptions filled and are waiting individually for them to prioritize us. Also people waiting to get the vaccine. Employee has to apologize to every person and the system is "not working right". It's a hot mess here. Find a better pharmacy, people. You don't want none of this."

"The Walgreens at 1992 Lancaster St NE was an amazing location. I filled my prescriptions with them for 10 years. They knew my car and greeted me warmly. They offered to put my medications on the same schedule so I didn't have to make multiple trips, and it was great. They told me when I moved that all I had to do was tell the new Walgreens location to transfer all my prescriptions over and it would happen. It didn't. The new pharmacist asked me to list for him which ones I wanted transferred. I said, "All of them." He said I had to be specific, so I lined up all my meds and read them aloud to him. Still, somehow, the old location filled one but not the others four months later. The new location didn't fill a different prescription and I had to buy some hold-over meds out of pocket while they figured things out. This location never offered to put my meds on the same schedule. I asked them twice per month for seven months what it would take to make this happen and they never had an answer, just sort of shrugged and said they weren't on the same schedule, so one or two would always be too early to fill. Most of the clerks at the drive thru were wonderful. Very quick, cheerful, friendly. I was loyal to the company and appreciated their good service so I stayed. But the last woman I spoke to was extremely impatient and cold. I asked to have all my prescriptions transferred to a different pharmacy altogether. She directed me to have the new pharmacy call them. I explained how there'd been some confusion the last time I'd made a transfer, so asked to review the meds I had with them. She refused and said I'd have to come in to get a list. I said I'd moved 60 miles away. She sighed and repeated robotically, "Have your new pharmacy call us." After I hung up, I realized they probably needed photo ID. That's reasonable, and if she'd have said so I would've understood. Instead, she offered no explanation, made it clear that she wanted to get off the phone. Terrible, terrible customer service from start to finish for seven months, except for the drive-up clerks, who were wonderful."
