"Wait to pick up prescription is horrific. Plan to take a lunch. Ten to 20 minutes per customer. Always a huge line."

"When I needed an prescription on the same day I called it in, they got it done fast. And on top of that, they had my meds ready that I didn't need on the same day. At pick up, there is usually only a small line if any."

"I've always had a good experience until today 10.25. I'm not sure if the pharmacy tech Desmond (spelling? A young man) woke up in a bad mood or what. 10.21 he offered to fax a controlled med script to another pharmacy for me since they were out of stock. I told him that they weren't able to being as it's controlled and my dr would have to fax a new order on Monday somewhere else. He laughed and said oh you're right, we can't, good thing you know more about it then I do. Today 10.25 I called to see why it was showing that they billed and filled on 10.21 making it so it would be declined at another pharmacy and I was trying to figure out why or what was going on. His response after arguing with me was "*snide laugh* and have YOU ever worked at a pharmacy before?" No, no I have not yet I knew you couldn't fax a controlled script and you didn't? Awfully audacious. So I asked for the supervisor which took about 10 minutes of being on hold, the call was placed at 10:18 a.m and I sat on hold until 10:29 when it rang back through because she'd taken so long to which they picked up and placed me on hold without saying anything. Jessa came to the phone clearly already having been told what "my issue" was. I tried to again explain to her what my question was to which she kept going back to my 10.21 conversation not listening to me that this was not regarding anything to do with me calling 10.21. After getting no where with her I asked for the techs name so I could put in a formal complaint with his overall attitude towards consumers. She stated "I can give you my name but you don't need his." I said so you're refusing to give me the techs name so I can file a formal complaint with corporate? She said again you don't need it. I said ok, then I'll take your name and I'll inform franchise as to why I don't have his name and your refusing to provide and they can pull the schedule to find out who was working. She then provided his and her name. If there is a higher up who would like to email me to discuss further, I'm open to further explanation. Luckily I'm not in the position that I'm forced to use that pharmacy, but perhaps some supplemental training is needed. I can't imagine if I'd been a senior citizen he'd spoken to that poorly."

"Kathleen at the pharmacy was INCREDIBLE!!! I just had surgery today and Walgreens dropped the ball BIG time. They didn’t call to tell me they were out of one of the medications I was prescribed. Finding a pharmacy that’s open later is tougher than ya might think. I called Safeway and got Kathleen. She checked my Ins and their quantity of medications . She even called me back to make sure my husband brought my ID when he picked up my Rx. Thank you so much, I’m eternally grateful for your empathy and amazing customer service!!"

"Rude people work here, I would highly recommend getting your prescriptions elsewhere. They prioritize phone calls over the very long lines of customers waiting. Waited in line for fifteen minutes, got to the front of the line and they closed for lunch, telling me I'd have to come back later. The pharmacist made a very rude comment to my husband about his teeth. We've been going to this pharmacy for two years and finally had enough. Switching to Fred Meyer pharmacy now, which means all of our grocery shopping will be done there now."
