"I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Montessori Discovery. We signed up our son for Fall 2021, we went on a tour and I explained how we were working on potty training and I was told they can work with us and understand kids have accidents. After receiving this information we decided to go ahead and pay the $500 deposit. Nothing on the paperwork stated that a child had to be potty trained to in order to attend the school. As we were approaching the beginning of the school year I let them know we were still working on potty training and he is having accidents, I was then told that they could not accommodate and that staff could not be taking children to the bathroom and they are not set up for this in their facility. I then asked for our deposit back and was told no and when I followed up with an email I received no reply. Out of $500 and no school for my child. After reviewing paperwork, nowhere on the application did it say a child must be potty trained. I’m super disappointed a place like this would just take $500 and not give the deposit back and leave a family just hanging like that. It was frustrating that I couldn’t even get a reply. $500 is a substantial amount of money and it feels like it was stolen. Definitely doesn’t sit right with me."
