"I can't say enough good things about Tommy's Paint Pot in Corvallis. I moved to Oregon about a year ago and was nervous about finding a quality paint store with knowledgable staff that could provide service, selection and expertise similar to that of the paint store I adored in my previous home city. Blaine and Linda at Tommy's Paint Pot blew my old store clean out of the water. My first time into the store, I was looking for consultation regarding a whole house interior color scheme for my newly purchased home in Albany (walls, ceilings, baseboard, trim, doors). I immediately felt at ease when I was greeted by Blaine and Linda. Then Linda and I got to work. Linda is hands down the best color consultant I've ever worked with. She has a unique gift for rapidly developing an understanding of your vision and then working with you to clarify and perfect it. During my first visit, she spent a good chunk of the afternoon working with me to put together a gorgeous whole house color scheme that I adored. She is clearly passionate about what she does and enjoys working with customers to realize their visions. Since my first visit, I have worked with Linda to design two more whole house interior color schemes for other renovations I've been working on. Another more recent project I consulted Linda on was developing an exterior color scheme for a 4 unit condominium in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland. Linda helped me put together 4 separate potential color schemes for the condo residents to vote on. All the residents were delighted with the options and decided on the color scheme pictured in the photos attached to this review (body - BM Nimbus Gray, columns/ceilings, rafters - BM Stonington Gray, trim - Pure White). With zero experience in exterior paint color palette design, I'll admit that Linda did pretty much all the leg work involved in creating all 4 color schemes. And, as always, she did not disappoint! Both Blaine and Linda have been in the paint business forever and it shows. Tommy's Paint Pot carries several different lines of Benjamin Moore paint including Benjamin Moore Advance. They also have tons of additional products geared toward both professional painters and DIYers. Blaine actually introduced me to Corona brand brushes, and now I use nothing but Corona for all my brush work. They are both extremely knowledgable about all aspects of the products the store carries. Whether you're a professional or a first time painter, Tommy's Paint Pot is where you want to go to get the service, selection and expertise you're looking for!"
