"My last visit to "Homemaker Hell" took too long to: A) Find something I was looking for.... B) Find someone to help me. C) Find out that they only sell tubing in pre-cut lengths. And of course you need a co-signer to buy lumber. If you're close enough to Jerry's in Eugene, Oregon go there. The sales associates are friendly, helpful, and the store has everything you need, and at a better price point."

"I wanted to say a special thank you to the team for helping me load over 4,000 lbs of concrete and for keying all of my new locks to be the same key."

"We ordered a gas stove there with delivery and installation. They came, the recommended install kit didn’t fit. Of course the old stove was removed. And then they just left the new stove in our living room, told us it’s our responsibility to buy the correct adapter fitting and left. No instructions what size adapter to get. Nothing. So we went back to the store the next day. No one could help us. They were all clueless. We left again without an adapter. The installers also claimed they had rescheduled the install for 3 days later. We called today and no one knew anything about that."

"The Home Depot, a large home improvement retailer, has faced a few controversies over the years. Here are a few notable examples: 1. Data Breach: In 2014, Home Depot experienced a significant data breach that impacted approximately 56 million payment card accounts. The breach occurred when cybercriminals gained access to the company's network and installed malware on their payment systems, compromising customers' personal and payment information. 2. Employee Safety: Home Depot has faced criticism regarding the safety of its employees. In 2012, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) cited the company for multiple safety violations, including inadequate training and failure to provide proper equipment, following a fatality of an employee in a forklift accident. 3. Environmental Impact: Home Depot has faced criticism for its environmental practices. Some concerns have been raised regarding their sourcing of lumber from unsustainable forests or suppliers engaged in illegal logging. 4. Consumer Fraud Allegations: Home Depot has been subject to allegations of consumer fraud. In 2017, a class-action lawsuit claimed that the company had misled customers by selling flooring products labeled as "Bamboo" when they were actually made from cheaper materials, such as processed bamboo. The lawsuit alleged false advertising and violation of consumer protection laws."
