"We were informed of my forced retirement 3 weeks before it was to occur. As you can imagine, we were in a panic to find a Medicare advantage plan for myself and private insurance for my wife. We went to the marketplace and that was way too overwhelming. It occurred to me to call the insurance agent that I have trusted for the last 20+ years. I didn’t even know if they sold this type of insurance. We were connected to Shannon at about 4:45pm. Honestly I was hoping to make an appointment at best. Shannon recognized the urgency of our situation with the holidays fastly approaching, stayed late and took care of both our new policies by 6:30pm. We were able to finally relax. "I had Insurance through a Local Office...1 of the big names ...2 years with the same Office ...It must have been in the air ..I had 2 different people with in 2 days come into my Shop and want to chat about Insurance ...I told them both I was good with my current broker .... I will cut through a lot of this and tell you .... Logan found out I didn't have enough Coverage and if something happened we would have be out of luck and paying out of pocket...It took me a little bit to realize that.. my last Broker never even came to the Shop...never came to see if we needed more since we have only been open 4 years .... I said in the beginning ...I had 2 people that came to my Shop....You now know who I went with ...Logan is young and making a name for himself here in Roseburg .He is honest and I appreciate that he listens ... and he's cute ;-) ..I trust that he will stay in touch ..I trust that he will make sure that we have all the Coverage that we need...What more could you ask for???"
