"we have a Prius that was taken to Clint Newel (twice) and the problem was not solved. 5 Star solved the problem within an hour. They are honest. Their shop is clean and they don't overcharge. We saw them pull into a bay a newer Mercedes so if they can work on a Mercedes and a hybrid your car is in excellent hands. Our repair was more than half the cost that Clint Newell charged and they didn't have to keep it all day to make it happen. Excellent auto repair shop."
"I used 5 Star whenever I had problems with my car. I felt like I could trust them and always appreciated their services. The last time I went I was having electrical issues related to my door locks. I could have fixed it myself, but I was too busy taking care of a newborn to do it myself. They "worked" on my car for 3-4 days, because they couldn't reproduce the problem. Finally, I decided to retrieve my car because I really needed it to take care of my family and this was a non-critical issue. I find out that the reason why they were making zero progress is because the secretary(?) I was communicating with was relaying the information I was providing to help them diagnose and replicate the problem almost completely oppositely of what I had said. They tried charging me for 45 minutes of work, but I haggled it down to their minimum charge of 30 minutes. Honestly I probably shouldn't have been charged anything considering it was entirely their fault that they had made no progress, and I was left car-less for several days, but I understand that they at least tried to do the work and a mechanic needs to be paid. Since I had great experiences with them previously and they were willing to at least knock a little bit off the price (albeit, grudgingly) I decided to go ahead and just have them order the parts necessary to make the repair. Two years later and I still haven't heard from them. Consequently, they are now 2 Star Auto."
