"It is so disappointing that this is my neighborhood. I just left and the cashier was incredibly put out because I entered $60 cash back when paying via card. “It’s Sunday morning, I have no change” she says, and looks at me with her arms up in the air. This is the second time a cashier has acted this way about cash back. If it is such a big problem, Safeway, either don’t allow your machines to have a cash back option or perhaps, train some of your cashiers on their customer-facing attitude. While there are a few cashiers that are friendly, it’s so rare that I’m actually surprised when I encounter one. I also want to call out that the produce is often disgusting. Last week the bottom of the asparagus was gummy and gross and the lettuce was brown. I wanted cut pineapple but it was well beyond its prime. My recommendation to all shoppers is to check your produce thoroughly before buying. Despite the fact that it isn’t convenient, I am going to have to go to Fred Meyer moving forward. This place is awful."

"It was awesome and the store manager. I think this first name is Mark. ATTENTION Management!! Mark, he should get a raise and a promotion to General District Management!!!! Without him listening and being amicable, I myself would have just left and returned to and put up with Fred Myers steer droppings. Once again thank you Mark."
"The staff at this particular location I find are annoyed by my presence they are very short and always in a hurry in the evenings they never wants to work the customer service counter they will see you standing there and still act like they don't see but should be saying something as simple as "someone will be right there" Its Safeway not Lazyway please change my opinion I live in this neighborhood too thankyou"
