"Highly discourage shopping here. They not only allow anyone to bring whatever animals into this grocery store, they actually encourage it. The management seems more interested in operating a pet store than a clean and sanitary grocery store. Imagine being allergic to someone's dog or being bitten by one in the store. Not only is this practice unsafe it leaves the company wide open on liability. Corporate, I hope you are paying attention. People, please. For sanitary and safety of others and the safety of your own pet, please leave them at home. Your pet, your "therapy animal", whatever you call it is not a bred, trained, and conditioned service animal."

"As a local, I really wish my wife and I could shop at the closest store to us without issues, but that seems to be impossible for the Safeway on King rd. We were just scolded by a rude employee while in the self checkout lane and were told we were not allowed to use it again if we had more than 15 items. We had 17 items, and our cart wasn't even filled halfway. Confused, we asked where the sign is for that the employee proceeded to point at the express lane sign 2 isles over. We said if that's the case for self checkout, then there needs to be obvious signs stated as so. She then proceeded to be sweet as pie to the men next to us and continue to stare and watch our every move until we finished paying and left. This experience makes me never want to return, and I will make sure I spend 140 dollars somewhere else next time."

"It is strange to me that in an environment where customer service is essential you all keep a jerk like Vic as leadership. He’s rude disrespectful ignores people has no report building skills looks like he hates the world never smiles is really just a person you would expect to encounter at the DMV. You all really need to rethink the type of people you hire and put in management they are the face of your company and the duties and his face said get out stay away I hate everything get away you bother me it ducks is the closet store thank goodness they are opening the whole food’s so tour people who are sick of the service at Safeway have somewhere else to shop"

"Review update! While the staff is still friendly, the refrigerator section, dairy is all I checked, NEEDS work! When I opened the door to grab cheese, the whole thing smelled like mold. All I had to do was move a couple bags to see why. And it affected a bigger area than what I took a photo of. Super Gross! Please get this cleaned up quickly. This is unacceptable. Photo attached from safeway on King Road, Taken today. 9-22-2022. Friendly staff, never seems too busy when I'm there. Checkout is easy. Good produce selection."

"This Safeway has two restrooms at the front of the store both of which are unisex which is not a bad thing. However, having only two restrooms at the front of the store and only two people can go at a given time that can be a problem. I did not explore further into this store to see if they have other restrooms but hopefully they do. If I get a response to this review and find out that they do have more than two they will get a five star from me if I don't get a response someday I'll check to see if they have more than two I don't often go to the Safeway."
