"Conflicting return policies made it difficult to return an item that was broken due to, “Holiday Return Policy”. Online said 90 days via email after purchase. In store they had a plastic sign saying, “anything purchased on or after the holiday, no returns are accepted”. My item was broken and I was greeted by rude front desk workers who didn’t care about my concern and directed me to the manufacturer. No number provided on who to reach out to. The manager Ryan at this store, including the check out employee Trisha was rude to me. I will never shop Lowe’s again. Don’t shop here unless you expect lack of customer support on items or never need the option to return."
"My boss gave me some merchandise credit cards to spend for job supplies but because my Id wasn't on file as the person who originally did the return, they refused to let me use the card. I understand the idea behind the policy but there are situations where it becomes a huge inconvenience to the customer. I offered to leave my id for them in case of any problems but that wasn't good enough. The employees were not very helpful or willing to help solve the problem. They were actually quite aloof and made me feel like I was trying to scam them somehow. I was simply trying to purchase materials needed for a job. We already spent the close to $200 with Lowes and I wouldn't think they would refuse us purchases because of a matter of who returned the original items. Home depot just got a couple of new loyal customers as we will never use Lowes again."
"We drove 20 miles for the sole purpose of checking out their garden sheds. But access was denied because employees were unloading merchandise from the truck. We waited for a while then had to leave with disappointment. For this miserable experience, we gave a two stars."
