I called a few mechanics who didn’t seem to care as I learned most mechanics don’t work over the weekend. Dennis, was different from the start. Although he had something already scheduled over his weekend and his crew was slammed that day, he gave me names of his competitors in hopes they could help. Additionally, a few hours after we chatted he text me that he found a solution for us. Dennis’s care and service was so far above and beyond what I expected. "Southern Oregon Diesel in my opinion is the best diesel shop in the roseburg area. I have taken my truck in there twice now for totally different things. They have made sure I was in the loop with what was going on letting me know other things that didn't need to be fixed right now but to keep an eye on. They are always a little backed up so it can take some time to get in but I have not felt like they were rushing to get me out the door at all. The second time I had to take my truck in I was having an issue and called them up and we went over the notes from the first time just to make sure it wasn't anything they had seen and it wasn't but I got a call back from them a couple hours later asking me to bring it by so they could make sure and they cleared a spot in their schedule to take an look at it that day. I will definitely take any of my diesel trucks there from here on out. Thanks guys."

"I have had several less than pleasant 1st time experience with local shops. I was referred to Southern Oregon Diesel by a friend. They originally told me they were pretty booked up and was looking at the following week before even being able to touch it. I dropped the truck off on a Thursday evening not even expecting it to be looked at for another week. Was called the following Monday morning as they began diagnostics. I was called and informed on every step taken, and involved in the decision making of moving forward in every aspect. Customer service by far is the most awesome. Truck was done in a day and week earlier than I anticipated. Will refer everyone to these guys."

"We were heading to Coos Bay from California on vacation when we started smelling antifreeze in our 05 duramax diesel. There was a leak somewhere but we couldn't get to it. We read the reviews of how this shop helped so many travelers and got there first thing Monday morning. They took my husband right in and within an hour had the problem fixed. We were able to get to where we were going. They are great people and awesome mechanics. The reviews I read were all correct! They take care of you, are very knowledgeable and have reasonable rates. I would definitely use them again. I wish we had a shop like this where we live!"
