"I went in for an oil change in my Honda fit. In the past I have had the skid plate for my oil come loose (2×) after getting oil changes and one of those times I had to buy a new skid plate. I was told at another oil change business that the screws and clips that hold it in place are short and don't work well but there isn't an alternative that fits. So they suggested using zip ties to hold it in place. Since then I've told anyone changing my oil to zip tie it and that has worked to keep the skid plate on. When I went here I told them this story and asked for them to zip tie the skid plate after the oil change. They assured me it would be fine without them. I insisted. They still did not do it and I paid for services. Within a couple of weeks I had to take over an hour of my time to wait for a technician at another Valvoline in Eugene, explain the story to them and they happily fixed the issue by putting zip ties on the skid plate. The technicians at the Roseburg Valvoline disregarded my story and did not do what I asked which was a simple and necessary fix that would have saved me time and had I not caught the issue myself it would have cost me money."
