"I stayed here at Portland Ecohouse for 5 days and loved every minute of it! The host is courteous and very responsive answering all my questions over text. The patio suite itself is nice and cozy. Nice clean linens and bathroom, great shower pressure, comfortable bed, fast internet. A nice bonus is the water purification system. I truly enjoyed every night i was there."

"This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Portland.  What's great about Portland are all the walkable neighborhoods with eclectic eating options and Scott's Patio Cottage is in the perfect location to experience several of them. Williams Avenue is just a couple of blocks away as well as the Alberta Arts District. A little further away, you can walk to Mississippi Avenue and the historic neighborhood of Irvington.  The cottage makes great use of space, is clean and everything is in mint condition. There is even an outdoor space to relax and enjoy in sunny weather. Scott is a gracious host who knows Portland well and can offer helpful suggestions of where to go and what to see.  I highly recommend staying here to get a taste of all that Portland has to offer."

"We adored Scott’s space — a treasure of a space and true “home away from home.” Each detail was meticulously and thoughtfully placed; with unique and colorful art, plentiful amenities, & a spacious tree-lined patio. We had everything we needed — and then some! — to enjoy the stay. Plus, the Cottage is idyllically situated between Alberta, Williams, and Mississippi — easy walking distance to so many fun restaurants and shops. Thank you, Scott! A +10 out of 10!"

"I stayed in Scott's patio suit during the blizzard while my home was being renovated. It was so cozy, and quiet, very private and much larger than I expected. It's also decorated very nicely, It felt like home immediately. It's right off Alberta so I took advantage of the square mile surrounding it full of neat shops, galleries and restaurants. Bring your bike if you have one, there's plenty of room for it in the large back yard behind a secure gate paved with beautiful stonework. The bathroom is huge, with a bougie shower, beautifully tiled with glass doors and accommodated with quality, natural, healthy soaps and shampoos. Scott was a great host, provided fresh towels and coffee when needed. He keeps the whole property meticulously clean. I'd rate my whole experience 5 stars, I wish I could have stayed longer"

"If you're looking to relax and be comfy in quiet, private surroundings while treading lightly during your Portland visit, this is the place. The great value price comes with expectations: That you'll be mindful of your impact on the planet, on other guests, and on those who clean up after you. The owner has made it as easy as possible to do this. Beautifully furnished indoor and outdoor "hanging out" spaces. Very comfortable bed. If this is your mindset you'll love it here. Will most definitely stay here again if I can."
