"Don’t waste your time here. Management only cares about their money. I called and told them I was giving my notice well before 30 days, told them the exact date and explained I couldn’t bring it to them in writing just yet as I was out of state and that I would bring it as soon as I was back. The guy explained it to me that he understood and that it was fine so when I wrote them a letter with my move out date, I dated it the day of the phone call. When I got back I gave the guy at the desk, which he said he was covering for the normal people since they were gone, and said it was fine and that there wasn’t an issue. I was told to pay rent for the 14 days of that month I was there and was given that amount and I also paid my pet rent and was told that everything was paid up. I got a bill in the mail months later for over $1600 for late rent and cleaning fees."

"We recently had the pleasure of touring North Bethany Ridge Apartments, and it was an excellent experience. Felipe, the associate who led our tour, was incredibly knowledgeable about the apartment complex. He provided us with ample information and showed great hospitality throughout the tour. We were impressed by his professionalism and friendly demeanor. The tour itself went smoothly, and we left with a comprehensive understanding of what the community has to offer. Felipe's guidance made our decision-making process much easier, and we are grateful for the time he dedicated to us. Overall, our experience with North Bethany Ridge Apartments and Felipe was outstanding, and we highly recommend both the complex and the assistance provided by Felipe."

"Lived here for a few months in 2023 while my wife and I shopped for a house in the area. We took great care of our unit, damaged nothing, and left it cleaner than it was when we moved in. Upon move-out, we paid an early termination fee of 1.5 months rent (over $3000) because we had to break our lease. No issue there - we agreed to that when he took out the lease. No one at Bethany Ridge did a walk-through to inspect the apartment. The agent on staff told my wife that an in-person inspection is not needed and that we would hear from them in a week. Six weeks went by before we heard anything from them. Finally, an email came through announcing a refund of our security deposit. I went online to check the amount. Out of a total of $300 for the deposit they are giving us a refund of less than $10. No explanation, no itemized list of charges, no thank you for being a respectful tenant. Greystar is a bunch of thieves with no integrity. As an added bonus, the whole time that we lived in the apartment the management was so careless that there was bird crap from an old nest right outside the main door to our building. For five months. What a “welcome home” each day and now what a “wonderful send-off” from Greystar management."

"Toured the property recently and I must say I was pretty impressed. The community is beautiful and very clean, the property definitely looked well managed. I think the aspect that impressed me most though was the staff. Anyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful, and able to answer any questions I had. I haven’t made my decision yet, but NBR is definitely at the top of the list. (:"

"Be careful with NBR and the management company Greystar. When you are moving out, insist on an in-person walk-through and on getting your move-out summary right then. File a claim if you do not receive your security deposit refund or an itemized accounting within a month. If you do not, they make up a bill with unsubstantiated extra charges beyond your security deposit. They never send it to you by mail as Oregon's code mandates. They wait for over a year after your move-out so that the deadline for filing a claim in the court of small claims passes. Then they report a collection to your credit report for a petty hundred or so bucks of made up cleaning charges. When you try to find out what's happening, NBR refers you to Greystar. Greystar does not respond and refers you to a notorious collector named "Colombia Debt Recovery, dba Genesis". The Greystar/Genesis due has a reputation for this. Accounts of their damage to the public abounds in every known consumer review platform. This has happened to three of us who've moved out in the past 2-3 years. So, watch out. Also be aware that although their address says Portland, this rental property is not within the boundaries of the city of Portland. So, you do not have the protection of Portland's tenant/landlord code."
