Since 1984, we have been proudly serving the Southeast Portland community with quality foods and supplies for pets. Originally a pharmaceutical store, we have transitioned to focus solely on providing the best products for your furry friends.
At Portland Pet Supply, we strive to meet all of your pet supply needs. Our store carries a wide variety of brands to ensure that you find exactly what you are looking for. We are open Monday-Saturday and have implemented safety measures such as requiring masks and social distancing to protect our customers and employees. Additionally, we offer curbside pickup for added convenience.

"I've been frequenting Portland Pet Supply for 5+ years now. We go there for a specific kind of cat litter that we like our cats to use. They also have a great selection of toys, especially the catnip bananas from Yeowww! (Our cats go crazy for them.) PPS has a GREAT selection of pet food. My cat won't eat most of it because she's picky and essentially likes junk food, but if she'd eat higher quality stuff, this store has a great selection. The staff is super helpful. The cat litter we buy comes in 40lb bags and they always help me (a 5' woman) carry it out to my car. The prices are on the higher side, but that's to be expected from a mom & pop pet store. Lastly, they are closed on Sundays, which is when a lot of people run errands, so plan ahead for that."

"Staff is very knowledgeable about products and can assist with changing your pets food if you are looking for more natural or better nutrition. Prices are very reasonable. The have a great 12 bag program where the 13th is free. Parking isn't the best in front of the store. But if we are all considerate multiple cars won't have to park on side streets. Speaking of there are at least 3 to 4 close side streets during peak hours. This store is located in a neighborhood and on a fairly busy street."
"Excellent selection and customer service. Our new dog quickly destroyed a toy I bought and the team was kind enough to track down the manufacturer’s replacement policy. Above and beyond. Support small businesses!"
"Love a local pet shop! Cute, healthy, natural products. Mostly cat and dog supplies but they do have some small pet items like litter, hay, snacks, food and dishes. Small selection (for small pet) but nice to have nearby."
