"I'm a bit sad they are changing the name of Concordia to Oregon state University. But I'm glad they are going to be using the facility in full swing again. Concordia has a long history in our neighborhood. It has always been a sense of prestige in our neighborhood over it's 100-year history. There is a larger backstory in why Concordia actually shut down and it wasn't due to financial issues but I'm going to keep my mouth shut about that. I do hope that University of Oregon opens up the coffee shop again. And makes the grounds look even better than before. There is a lot of maintenance work and lighting that needs to be replaced & things mended. But I'm sure it will be in good hands. I did however notice that the library glass roof broke. I wonder if the lift operator broke it as it was fine last week? Overall? I hope they put the garbage cans back. And keep up the wonderful lighting that makes it such a warm and welcoming space. I kind of hope they get the groundskeeper from McMenamins to moonlight there! I'll post some photos later so you see what I mean. Oh! And to all the other alumni of Concordia? Thank you!"
