"I needed a chainsaw for rental due to the snow storm. The 3 gentlemen that worked the rental department the afternoon of 2/24/2021 were extremely excellent in assisting me in person and over the phone (sorry if I get the name wrong as I think it was Allistar, Doug, and Brad.). Check out and check in was extremely smooth and easy. They definitely went above and beyond the call of duties to ensure that I was able to get my task done with the rental tools they had on hand."

"Just bad customer service. Charged for a damage waiver without asking if I wanted it and dragged feet to refund. Complained that return was dirty. It was exactly as I got it. No one seems to want to be there. All super grumpy."

"I've become less and less a fan of home depot with each new project. I even boycotted them completely. Unfortunately for me I was in a bind and needed a dump trailer and they were the only place that had one within 30 miles. So I confirmed for my loader ($250/day from another company), and ran to get the dump trailer. The brakes were messed up and when loaded fish tailed so badly I couldn't go over 30 mph with only half the load weight limit rating for the trailer. At one point the trailer brakes completely locked on me so I got only 1 of the six loads I needed to haul out of my yard. I have a commercial drivers license and flat refused to tow the thing back. I'd hired help and had to divert 2 guys from their tasks . Losing 6 hours of work getting done and $150 in added labor cost. I was able to utilize the loader for only 4 on the eight hours and had to rent it for an additional day. So I'm sitting here looking at the pile and -$550 . Oh folks it gets even better. The guy that came to look at then haul off the nice piece of equipment didn't arrive until 430. Home depot insisted we come later in the day after he looked at the equipment before they'd refund my rental. I've got work to do so my wife said she'd take care of it but has now been stuck in rush hour for 2 hours because of accidents. The trailer itself? What was wrong with it? I was told that the previous customer has ripped off the entire suspension system and they had to rebuild it LOL so be warned if you like to provide or work in a safe work zone. I'm filing an official complaint with Oregon D. O. T. about this since the trailer could have caused a major accident considering I was hauling a half a ton of 1'-2' boulders when the brakes locked up."
