"I don't know what specific safeway this is on. But the safeway on 122 and powell I've frequented for years. Come to know a few workers that are pretty nice people. On the flip side there are others not even worth any time asking for help. They would work harder trying not to work. They are just complete hard working at making sure they are lazy. But that's everywhere. Really bad at names so I won't even try. They know. They see me walk in thier direction and look around for someone who will help. All safeways have a system for organizing that nobody knows how. Example isle 6 shelf 77. Consistent with all safeways. I have asked numerous employees and they don't know. Any one can explain I'd love to here about it"

"I've been shopping here for my life and I have had my fair share of run-ins with people who don't want or like the job they are doing, they are rude and expect anyone who walks in the store is trying to steal something, but it uncomfortable but close and convenient, and I don't recommend it for shopping maybe just an item or two if you want to deal with the homeless panhandling and they can get aggressive, hot coffee and was hurt, for no reason! But the hot, and bombdiddlyom Carl's Jr saved my day and they stayed open through the ice storm, and I said that there's a bit of a wait but it's very good, always hot fresh food."

"Edit: I am changing my review to a 5 star after coming in and discovering both available bakery items and the self checkouts available in the early morning. Thanks so much for listening! It was a really nice surprise to be able to buy the products I like through self checkout. I'll be back often!! Safeway Bakery has made the business decision to leave their display cases empty until 4 hours after opening time on a daily basis. They also keep their self checkout lanes closed during the early morning hours. Folks coming in after a long overnight shift like myself do not appreciate or want the forced social interaction. I work overnights for a reason."
