"This company damaged my siding due to having a faulty drill bit. I had insulation blown into my walls from the exterior and lost a lot of shake siding. When the sales representative and production manager came to evaluate, they were able to assess the damage as being caused by faulty equipment and not "dry rot" (as was first thought to be). They stood by their commitment for customer satisfaction and gave me a discounted balance to help offset the cost of having to purchase more shake siding than I anticipated I would need. This company has insulated my whole house from top to bottom, and it has made a huge difference in my heating bill. I would recommend them. Just make sure that the installers have all of the right equipment and supplies with them before they start a job."

"So-so experience. It wasn't awful in the end, but I wouldn't recommend. I hired IBP on the recommendation of another contractor to remove old, water damaged insulation and vapor barrier from my crawlspace and replace with new. First, I found it odd that the salesman didn't actually go in the crawlspace, because sealing from rodents was one of my concerns, but trusted any issues would be found in the process. Then, when the crew came to remove the old insulation, they discovered they hadn't been sent with the right equipment (and seemed frustrated at me about it?) and had to wait around for the equipment to be delivered. On the day planned for installing the new insulation the crew broke a water pipe. IBP did reimburse me for the emergency plumbing call in the end, but still, there was mess and panic,I had to go without water for a day, and the project was delayed. The final installation, with a different crew, went well as far as I could tell. However, I just had a different crawlspace company out for a different issue and they told me that IBP had put the new vapor barrier right on top of the old, decaying one, which is not right practice. Also, rodents have already gotten into the two month old insulation. Their invoices were very confusing with multiple pdfs to flip between, and they refused to provide me with a clear, one page breakdown of the costs. Ultimately I was able to get it all clarified with a manager, but still, who likes having to have special calls with the manager? The emails to request payment just said "please process" - nothing else - which was really weird and unprofessional. Price was okay and final work was okay, but you'd be better off looking elsewhere."

"Our installation crew, Sammy and Johnny, were prompt, courteous and professional. The completed the job quickly and effectively. They were able to cover all surfaces of a difficult roof and left our attic cleaner than when they arrived. I recommend IBP without reservation."

"I used IBP for blown in insulation for my attic. They were a great price and seemed knowledgeable during the bid process. I asked them specifically to put in baffles for my vented roof and they assured me it would be done. They ended up not using baffles and agreed to come and add the baffles without cost. That wasn't a big deal for me. However, On three separate occasions we scheduled a time for them to come out and fix the mistake and I took off work to be there. Three times, they didn't show up and didn't call to cancel. That is what is unacceptable to me. Eventually they did make the fix and did a good job. The manager was very nice and understanding during the whole process, but i would not use them again."
