"I was referred to Good Neighbor Tire in Renton by my regular mechanic who was completely booked out for 2 weeks when I had some very urgent work come up that needed to be done: new tires and an alignment. In addition, I had a busted rear shock. From the very beginning of my conversation with Good Neighbor, they worked with me and were also able to get me the tires I wanted as well as the after-market shocks of my choice for my car. They were also able to apply their warranty to both the tires AND the after-market shocks. My car is a Genesis Coupe 3.8 Ultimate, which requires some special care. The front tires are a different size than the rear tires. The shocks are very high-end. All in all, I would highly recommend this business as a go to for most of (if not all) of your automotive needs. They'll get it done right the first time and will inspect your car for any issues like it's never been before. 5 stars, A+ UPDATE 1/8/24: I went here again recently (like I always do) and I keep getting prompted for another review, so I'll add on to my previous review and say "THIS PLACE IS ALL AROUND ONE OF THE BEST PLACES YOU'LL FIND FOR THE OVERALL VALUE & QUALITY WORK THEY DO!""

"I came in to have my rear brakes inspected, as my brakes were making a squeaking sound. I had them inspected previously by a local mechanic and family friend who saw that the shoes were low, and didn’t have time to replace them, but recommended to take the car to a shop to have the work done. Sun Auto then inspected, and recommended to replace the DRUMS, not the shoes, for $500. I argued that that was way too high, as parts online cost as little as $100, and $400 for labor was ridiculous, so they “spoke” with their manager and got the price down to $220. All they ended up doing was rotating the drums and not fixing the original issue, and still charged me $220. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. I also checked online, and they are not only not Better Business Bureau accredited, but they also have a 1/5 rating through them."

"These guys were nice and professional, however they had my car for an entire business day and had poor communication and misdiagnosed the issue my car had. They took my $165 to diagnose and couldn’t accurately locate the issue and told me I likely needed an entirely new transmission. Well, the next day I took it to a transmission shop and within 3 hours i had my car back and all the issue was was a malfunctioning sensor not even related to the transmission. These guys only focus on tires, brakes, and fluid changes, I wouldn’t come here again for anything else advertised on their site. Very selective with services they actually want to perform. Wasted money + got poor, false service unfortunately."
