"One of the best spots in Greater Los Angeles to catch a sunset. The duality of the mountains and beach is simply stunning."

"Absolutely beautiful today. Point Dume has plenty of parking. Both free and paid however you should get there before 10:00 am. The hiking trails is about a 5 for toughness however, there are stairs to climb if you are an advanced hiker. Today, I even saw mountain climbing. Very safe and clean. One restaurant is right at the beach if you are hungry. There is a location area directly on the beach you can rent for a wedding. Great place to bring out of town guests. Dog-friendly, and restrooms if needed."

"Such an awesome experience! See such wonderful nature not far from Los Angeles! I highly recommend it but if you do go I would definitely wear waterproof shoes. Fun for kids and adults to explore the natural life."

"Malibu Lagoon is a fantastic destination for spending quality time with family, earning it a solid four-star rating. Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Malibu, this natural gem offers a serene and captivating setting that is ideal for creating lasting memories. The highlight of Malibu Lagoon is undoubtedly its stunning beach, which provides a welcoming playground for both children and adults. The soft sand and gentle waves set the stage for building sandcastles, playing beach games, or simply soaking up the sun. It's a delightful spot that will keep the whole family entertained. The lagoon itself is home to a diverse ecosystem, offering opportunities to discover various bird species and marine life. Exploring the wetlands and estuaries is an educational and eye-opening experience for children and adults alike, shedding light on the importance of preserving these precious natural environments. While Malibu Lagoon offers excellent facilities and amenities, it's worth noting that it can get quite crowded at times. The popularity of this destination means that it attracts a significant number of visitors, particularly during peak seasons or weekends. While this may detract slightly from the tranquility and serenity of the surroundings, it's still a testament to the allure of the location. Despite the occasional crowds, the tranquil atmosphere and scenic beauty of Malibu Lagoon remain intact, providing a sense of escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's a place where families can unwind, connect with nature, and appreciate the stunning beauty of Southern California's coastline. Additionally, Malibu Lagoon's proximity to other attractions in the area, such as the iconic Malibu Pier and nearby hiking trails, offers additional opportunities for exploration and adventure."
