"Over-priced. Try to upsell you. Hard to reach by phone. It took them 5 days with lots of back & forth after I got my lab results (which took about 4 days after my vet appointment) to fill my prescription. My kitten was diagnosed with giardia. After doing my own research I saw many pet owners had issues with clearing up the infection with only the antibiotics. Many had repeat infections that only cleared when antibiotics & anti-parasite were given simultaneously. I told the vet my concern and asked to be prescribed both out of extra precaution because my kitten had diarrhea for awhile and was rapidly losing weight. To which they denied. Of course as soon as the antibiotics were through she had diarrhea again. Either they misdiagnosed her, or did not give her the full treatment to keep me coming back and spending $$$$. I will be using another vet!"

"Made an appointment to get my dog a health certificate to fly weeks ago. Was called by Vetco this morning to tell me they have to move my appointment (that i made weeks ago) and when I say I need to come in before tomorrow as I need the cert they let me know that they can't even do that until 12/26 because they don't have a doctor in for that. Ok, so why'd you make this appointment. I started getting frustrated because obviously my flights depend on having this cert and I ask the woman on the phone to help me find another vetco total care that can do this and she said she can't, I am now nearly in tears as I have to have this certificate and She then hung up on me and wouldn't answer when I called back. I called the Fashion Valley location where the person on the phone was so lovely and helpful and he instantly made me a new appointment at the La Mesa location with a doctor that can help me tomorrow. I will never return to the Sports Arena Vetco after this experience as they are unorganized, rude and unwilling to help. I recommend the Fashion Valley location for anything you need as those employees were sweet as can be and more than willing to help me fix and error that the Sports Arena Vetco made."

"I took my dog here yesterday ( 12-8-23) for follow up check up I was really disappointed to their Manager named “ DANIEL” because he’s so Rude Inconsiderate Person! He complained about the issue of my dog, he told me my Vet already suggested to me to Euthanize my Dog! “No heart “! I was really upset because it’s easy for him to say that word! Plus my Vet didn’t even check my dog that Rude Manager “ Daniel” already gave me price that I need to pay! I’m not going back there VETCO clinic Sports Arena blvd. San Diego anymore because of that Bad experience! I don’t recommend that place!"

"I called, was told the process to make my appointment, made such appointment. When I showed up for my appointment I was told I had no appoinyment and furthermore was told the information given to me by phone was incorrect. The following day I received a notification text stating I had missed my appointment the previous day at the location that I had scheduled and appeared...."

"Update- manager called and offered me a coupon for an exam. Well hallelujah! It was rediculous that I had to pay again for exam. So I went from 1 star to 4. Thank you for fixing this problem for me! My baby needs his stuff to stay healthy. …….Nothing but problems since they have switched from thrive! I called to make teeth cleaning appointment. They canceled on me due to short staffing! Then I at least need his heart worm medicine! Made an appointment and then canceled because he was seen in the menifee office and the offices are no longer allowed to use each other’s information. So I called to confirm that this was true. The woman said the menifee office was closed for upgrades and they would make an exception. So I drove down and the woman at front desk said nope he was not seen at this office for his heart worm test you have to go back to the other office. I live in pacific beach! So they are a complete mess and you are unable to get any service from them. So I’m done with this place now! Good luck with them"
