At Home, At Rest Pet Euthanasia

"The people here are some of the most kindhearted and earnest people I have ever encountered in the pet world. About a year ago I had moved up to the Portland area, but recently I received a call about one of the feral/stray cats we used to TNR and care for in the neighborhood. He had been hit by a car, and his body was being held at the San Jose Animal Shelter. The thought of this poor animal's final resting place being a landfill was too much to bear. I was able to get a hold of At Home At Rest, and through the most complicated mess the San Jose Shelter could throw at us, At Home At Rest worked closely with me to pick up his body and make sure he could be treated with the care and respect he deserved. I can wholeheartedly say that these people care about you and your pets. Rest in Peace Grumpy, despite your poorly chosen name, you were a sweet cat, and I will forever miss you."

"Through an immensely sad and difficult time, Dr. Kuty was absolutely wonderful. I wouldn't have changed a thing and I highly recommend her. Her staff is also very nice and understanding. "My 14 yr old boy was getting too sick to care for and I promised him I'd never put him to rest in a vet's office. Dr. Kuty was so sweet and professional and directed us every step of the way. We had time to love on him and say goodbye between him going into a deep sleep and crossing the Rainbow Bridge. The process itself was beautiful amd comforting and I wouldnt change a thing. She clipped some tail fur for me to keep and asked me if he wanted to be cremated with anything so I wrapped him in his favorite blanket.
