"I can not express how kind and informative the Dr. Van Nice and his staff were during my visit. He was so gentle with my 15 year old who HATES having his teeth looked at; his calm energy put me at ease as well. I live in Manhattan Beach and Dr. Van Nce is worth the drive. I am in the process of moving to Florida and my move was pushed up a month, as my mom is having a hip replacement the beginning of April. Dr. Van Nice offered to find me other specialists in that area, if that would be easier for me. He has genuine concern for pets and their pet parents. I would recommend him to anyone."

"Dr. Van Nice agreed to send me an estimate for work to our dog's teeth. However, he did not honor his word. I asked him to call me so we could clarify what happened (2x by email; 1x by phone), but he did not have the integrity to do so. This all came across as unprofessional and disrespectful, particularly the decision to break his word w/o talking to me personally. Based on these issues, we cannot recommend his practice to others."

"The team at Animal Dental Services (ADS) are courteous and efficient. Dr. Van Nice and Dr. Mirchel know their stuff. They were excellent at educating us and keeping us apprised all along the way of the care plan for our dog. We have a nearly 18 year old chihuahua that had several bad teeth that needed to be removed. Given her age, we were nervous that the animal might not respond well to being anesthetized and having many teeth removed. We chose the team at ADS to do the procedure because we had been referred to them and we liked how they treated us and our pet. They gave us the option of having a dedicated anesthesiologist manage anesthesia, airway and vital signs during the procedure. Dr. Van Nice and Dr. Mirchel were aware of our pet's value to us. They were frank about the risks of the procedure but we felt confident they would do their best to provide our pet with an optimal outcome. Thankfully our dog has good internal organ functions and that helped. Shout out to Tammy for nice front desk work! Over 2 months post op now and our pet is doing well."

"Dr. Van Nice and his team are very warm, friendly, and professional. They put me at ease and this very caring doctor knew exactly what was wrong with my pet by the end of our visit. He spent a long time talking with both myself and my husband, and answered all of our questions. He also gave us a referral to a cardiologist and called the office directly."
