"Location was quiet. The cabins were quaint, old, but charming had everything we needed from ceiling fan to TV to dishes, air conditioning. It was very comfortable good night sleap every night. Owner is awesome always available. We are city folk and always had questions lol."
"If I could give negative stars I would!! Lady that runs the place is awful! Cabins are a dump and are old and have mold. The grounds were a mess and branches all over and the pond is gross!!! Save your money and go elsewhere!!"
"It was our first time staying at castle rock hideaway. We chose cabin 5 which was perfect for myself and my 4 kiddos. We had plenty of space for all of us to sleep comfortably and move around. Our cabin was nice and clean the beds were comfortable. My boys had no complaints except for no wifi lol that's kids for ya. I asked the several times over the weekend if they would want to say again and I was told yes. The price was more then reasonable especially for the accommodations and the amount of space in the cabin. It really was beyond my expectations we will be repeat guest. We can't wait to plan our next vacation and stay in another cabin."
"Great experience! Cabins were nice with a kitchen and practically every kitchen tool needed safely wrapped in saran wrap! The pond was a bit nasty and the showers in the cabins were a bit dated. Loved how close Castle Rock Lake and the gas station/convenience store, was! We loved our stay!"
"We rented cabins 7 and 8. Very nice! The kitchen is stocked with pans, utensils, glasses, plates, bowls, silverware, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. If you need anything else just let Carol know. She provided a crock pot for us to use! Everything is very clean and well kept. Our pets were welcome. Very close to the lake. My family had a wonderful time and we will definitely be going back!"
