Hub Apartments

"Easily the best apartment I ever rented. Location: It was across the street from the place I worked, less than 100ft from a good grocery story, walking distance to multiple restaurants - walking distance to a medical center, dental, and optometrist! They even have fiber internet here. 10/10 Unit: Tremendous kitchen. Huge center island, lots of counter space. Multiple ways in and out. Lots of space in general. Gigantic pantry. Gigantic bedroom closet. Plenty of room all round and high ceilings to boot. Super modern appliances, heating cooling etc. You will likely need large blackout curtains if you, like me, don't want all the natural light but hey, another way of saying that is "TONS OF NATURAL LIGHT". 10/10 Price: When I first moved in (2019) the cheapest possible one bedroom place I could find in all of Folsom was ~$1,500 per month, blocks away from my job, and last renovated in the 90s. HUB was offering ~$1,750 for brand new right across the street from my job, right next to a grocery store. I probably saved that $250 per month in gas savings alone. Well worth the bump in price. When I moved out in 2023 the price for my one-bedroom had jumped to about ~2,200 per month. I have no idea how that compares with the rest of the market today, but I suspect all else equal, the calculus remains the same. Being able to qualify for a 2,200 a month one bedroom basically puts you in the top 1% income earners for Folsom which is it's own problem with housing in California period. I think the price makes a lot of sense *for me* but it's nothing to be super excited about. You're paying extra to enjoy good living here, not save money by scrimping. 8/10"

"These are beautiful apartments and I am very happy I moved here from El Dorado Hills. The apartments are brand new and I have not had any issues. I have been here for almost one year. The layout feels open and the apartments are not noisy. The pricing is fair for the area and quality. I really appreciate that you can access the gym 24 hours a day. The pool area is also very nice during the summer. The assigned garages are great and the community is truly diverse. There is also ample free parking which is convenient. The staff is super responsive with any requests or emails I have had."

"My whole experience has been nothing but wonderful. The first day I walked in Kelsey was completely welcoming, she even let me take a tour with my dog Buddie. Maintenance hasn't been needed but are great people. I talk to them regularly in passing. Apartments are amazing and priced reasonably. I look forward to the next year at this property."
