"Mira Bella is positively one of the best apartment communities you could live in here in San Diego. This me and my wife's first place together and we couldn't have been happier. As I'm in the military, I've moved through my fair share of apartments here in San Diego and this one is far and away the best. The apartments are spacious, modern, and very well kept. The office staff are very responsive and so kind. I worked with Juan throughout the application and move-in process who made it a process I didn't even have to worry about. I've worked closely several times with Yvette during my time here for everything from little key issues to working through the process of moving onto my next set of orders. They are always professional and take care of their tenants. Parking in San Diego is atrocious, so having a complex with a secure, gated, two-story garage is a life-saver. In my year and a half of living here I have never once had to fight to find a parking space. There is large park nearby, a pool and hot tub in the middle of the complex that was just replastered. A large barbecue open space for entertaining as well as community room with a large kitchen, pool table, work spaces, tv, and couches. They often host community events with free food/snacks, or drinks. The fitness center is awesome as well and offers on-site personal training. The big thing for me was the secure package room that ensures my packages get delivered into a secure locker that no one else has access to. Overall, if you're looking for a place to call home in San Diego, don't look any further than Mira Bella!"

"Today, I visited your property to inquire about a 2-bedroom apartment. Upon entering, the lady at the desk did not introduce herself, immediately asking about my needs. Although I understand the no-showings after 4 pm policy, my concern about parking for my company car, which changes weekly, was met with a suggestion to park off-property. I don't find this solution ideal, and unfortunately, she didn't explore alternative options or present the issue to management. Consequently, I returned the paperwork as it seemed our requirements wouldn't align. I appreciate the need for parking rules, but the interaction left me feeling the rental agent wasn't inclined to assist."

"Lived here for 3.5 years now, and it was fine for a while, but it has only grown more frustrating to live here. Although some things might be out of Mira Bella's hands, it still affects the community. Since April, airhorns are a common occurrence. For the past couple weeks, there's an interesting sounding (very loud) alarm. I don't know if these are caused by residents or if it's something else in the neighborhood. Both sounds echo throughout the complex and as someone with chronic insomnia who sleeps with earplugs, my sleep hasn't been great. Not only that, but it makes working from home difficult, especially during meetings (and yes, the windows and doors to the outside are closed). These sounds happen constantly throughout the day, every day. I did also review on Yelp, but not much has changed since then either. I do appreciate the new pool rules they put in place; it limited the amount of kids' screaming over the summer. The elevators are still having issues, but most of them ride smoother and don't break down as frequently. Still an issue for accessibility reasons as one of the lobby elevators was down for weeks (I don't know if it's working again or not since I've been avoiding it), but that particular elevator leads to P2 from the lobby, so it's an important elevator to keep in service."

"The apartment itself is spacious and quite nice but everything else deserves 1 star. As a previous resident I would confidently let people know this isn’t a safe place to live. Security is almost nonexistent. My car had its tire stolen off of it midday. Though they have cameras, they refused to look at them because it would be “hours of video”. Almost every person I asked in the apartment had also either had their belongings stolen from their car, or their car stolen. In addition, our washer was flooding our apartment for months before anything was done about it. We emailed, called, put in requests, and went in person and nothing was done until I told them I would go elsewhere to get it fixed. They didn’t want to fix it because it was an expensive job. Finally they handled it but our belongings were falanges in the process. I understand that the management is doing their best with what they have. I’m sure the higher ups are the ones making these decisions but there was only one person in the office who was helpful. Other office management was often dismissive and unkind in the process or just didn’t seem to know how to work any of the software the apartment used. If you are going to pay over $4,000 for an apartment, rent from elsewhere."

"I have been a resident at Mira Bella apartments for three years now and I am loving it. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful. They have a beautiful game room with a pool table and huge TVs. Many dog owners around and a huge park next-door. Close to PB, OB, and downtown. I will stay here as long as I can. The only negative thing that I would have to say about this place is that some of the residence constantly vandalize the elevators and the walls of the building. There are no cameras in the parking structure and my roommates car has gotten broken into once before. However, I have noticed a new security guard recently, not sure if he does anything. There are so many parking spots which make life easy. Not enough guest spots. They make it so that you have to print a guest ID pass and you only get one or two per month. I have way more friends that visit me constantly and sometimes family with more than one car and this makes it very difficult for me to see loved ones. Aside from the negative aspects of the building I do recommend renting here. I haven’t felt safe or at home until I moved here. FYI Starbucks and a gas station is right down the street. Also if you go to Mesa community college, it’s right down the street as well."
