"I love the the capable, friendly, dependable staff. Tina and Alexis have made the office a cozy, comfortable place to hang out and do business m. Sam, Able and EZ are the best maintenance staff. On top of things, hard working and helpful. I enjoy the well maintained area, trees, grass, plants and dog park. The landscapers do a marvelous job. The neighborhood is friendly and keeps an eye on each other. Once a month their is always a activity going on. Great place to live."

"I am currently on a short lease, however, having lived here for a few months I have to say I'm going to really miss the trees, shade, and just overall pleasant atmosphere that the Diplomat offers. It's nicely tucked away in Vandenberg Village, yet super close to everything you could need. The management team is really nice and helpful with moving in and getting settled. Our apartment was clean and we had no issues during our stay. My wife and I had a great experience living here and would stay longer if we weren't looking to buy a house."

"I got a phone call from Octavio stating I have to quit smoking cigarettes or he will evict us even though it's not in the lease I can't smoke that I signed. He then stated it's a Santa Barbara law but I can't find such law. Then he stated it causes smoke damage and smoking cigarettes would be willful damage to the property and he could evict us for that. What about all the other residents in these apartments that smoke cigarettes that didn't sign a no smoking Claus in the lease? How come they could keep smoking and I can't?"

"Almost three weeks ago, amidst the COVID-19 crisis, I reached out to Octavio, with very little notice (being that I am military), in search of an apartment. Octavio was more than willing to do everything in his power to meet with me and discuss the possibility of getting me into one of the newly remodeled units upon arrival. Every call leading up to the signing of the lease was answered, and every email was responded to almost immediately. After signing the lease and beginning the move-in process, we had noticed a few minor things that bothered us, but nothing outstanding. We notified Octavio and his maintenance team (Alex), and within 24 hours, every detail was addressed, and what wasn’t immediately fixed, was given a promise time to be fixed. Additionally, Octavio has been positive and professional along the way. I was skeptical seeing some of the “not so great” reviews written... but, I assure you, if you’re undecided on a place to live, and this is one of your possibilities, I highly encourage you to at least check it out. I have to believe a majority of the negative reviews are older or are not all encompassing, because overall, I’m very satisfied living here, and the staff is amazing!"

"So I lived here for a year and it was great lots of beautiful places near by to fish camp or just walk around, but the apartments are about 200$ more then others in the area and they are nice apartments great views and quiet. People living there love to smoke weed and that does get annoying considering you would like to have your windows and doors open as to let in ocean breeze I don't always want to smell weed you know. Moving out was not fun they made very little effort to contact me about money I owed for (repairs?) Until I started getting called by a collection agency and that I only had about a week to pay 1,200 before it started hitting my credit so that was great and I have no idea how I had 1,200 in damages so it's a pretty shady place just live in SM Also parking sucks they do not enforce rules on that at all you'll have cars parked in spots for years at a time and then they park the daily drive on the street just taking up room"
