"Do not bring your kid here. The owner Janet is not considerate of her employees and does not follow ratio guidelines, she continuously has too many children with too few teachers. She refuses to listen to the concerns of her teachers and pays them minimum wage for the high stress environment that they are in. Even when teachers raise concerns about a child’s family life she brushes it off. She is working her employees to death and continues to keep adding more and more children even though she is understaffed and does not have enough teachers to take care of the children. All she cares about is money."

"**PARENTS BEWARE... ALL 5-STAR REVIEWS ARE FROM THE PRIOR OWNERSHIP....ONLY 1-Star reviews since the new company took over** I have had my child in the infant room here since he was 7mo old (over a year) - before the new company took over. However, as of yesterday I had to pull him from the school permanently. I could not in good conscience continue to place him in the current conditions any longer, nor could I not say something publicly in case another parent might be considering placing their child here. I CAN NOT endorse enrolling your child at this school. In the last two months, since the new company took over, this school's quality and level of care has plummeted to what I feel has become a dangerous level. Many of the teachers on duty seem to have good intentions, but they come and go so quickly (either due to quitting or because they are just a substitute/temp filling in) that no one seems to know what they are supposed to do or what the personal care and routines of the babies/toddlers are. This is particularly evident with those LOs that have dietary restrictions and medication needs, like my son. Because the turnover is so bad, there has been absolutely no consistancy in routine or regular care for our LOs. I tried to chalk up many of the issues encountered to growing pains from the change of ownership, but this is beyond growing pains. Until they can hire adequate staff and establish consistent SAFE routines, I do not recommend bringing your child here. Update: I stopped by the school to get a copy of my son's medication records (since they failed to email them to me as promised when we left the school). When the director, Brandy, gave me the log, it was clearly doctored to show they had given all medication doses perfectly on time every single day, even though Brady was very much aware that was not the case. She even had to take personal action to provide my son his medication on time for a few days because the teachers admitted they kept forgotten to give him doses or gave some over an hour late some days. When I confronted Brandy, she said that was the log they had on file. I told her it was obviously fabricated and that I wanted the logs they keep on file for licensing, and she said that's the only one they kept on file and the only one she would be able to give me. Needless to say, I reported the issue to licensing. When the investigation concluded, the school was found guilty of miss management of medication. As it turned out, they not only missed doses, but double dosed my son on at least one occasion. How can any parent trust the lives of their children in the hands of a school that neglects their students and blatantly lies about it? I will never trust this school with my son's life or safety ever again."

"My daughter has attended Intellichildren since she was 2 years old, and she will be headed to Kindergarten this year. They offer reduced tuition if you qualify. I don't receive tuition assistance but it is still affordable, especially compared to the other preschools in the area. They have a camera system as well so you can watch your child from anywhere, and they provide breakfast, lunch and a snack! They have always been very kind to my daughter here. I would recommend this preschool/daycare."

"We love Intellichildren preschool in San Marcos. When a home nanny became just too expensive for our little girl, we had to find a great day care school nearby that we were comfortable with. Definitely the best in the area and the teachers at Intellichildren are excellent, always encouraging the kids and getting them involved with arts, crafts, music and dance. They have the watch me grow web cameras so we can look in on our princess when we miss her as she plays and learns at preschool, a great and comforting feature. In the 3 years our daughter has been attending preschool at Intellichildren she has been promoted up to the next class twice as she is doing so well - and the fact that the teachers are actively helping and assisting her to do this is amazing. Wonderful job Miss Carol and all the teachers at Intellichildren, our little girl is enjoying every minute and can't wait each morning to go to pre-K class, see her friends and play."

"All three of our children have been at Intellichildren, and we can't speak high enough of this preschool and infant care center. Every classroom and teacher is caring, engaging, and really cares about the development, learning and well being of each child. We also love the all-inclusive elements of the school including music and dance programs, as well as lunch and snacks. Other schools we considered charged extra for each of these. The preschool curriculum of Ms. Janet is superb and prepared our now Kindergartner for Kindergarden, Ms. Gwen and Ms. Selene are incredibly caring and engaging for our 3 YO, and our 1 YO toddler is growing and developing at amazing speed through the development and enrichment program. This is not just a daycare for little kids. They really get a lot out of the programs!"
