"I had an incredible experience stopping by Afghan food market. I took my mom and aunts on a weekend getaway to San Diego and found this place on TikTok (of all places). When I saw they served Sheer Yakh I knew I had to take my family to get a taste of their homeland. We ordered Bolani, Sheer Yakh and FRESH bread. I read the reviews about the wait, which to us, didn’t matter. As an Afghan, I know the hard work and time that goes into to making the cuisine. Everything was made to order with fresh ingredients. The woman working was very kind and attentive. We were short a few breads for purchase, which she immediately made us the amount we needed. The gentleman working made delicious Sheer Yakh and provided great customer service. I truly hope this business does well. I love to see members of the Afghan community succeeding."

"Love it here! We came in here yesterday to check out the restaurant. The service was amazing. They were so kind. The food was great, it was authentic afghan food just like back home. We ordered Kabob and it was juicy and tender! Best Bread in El Cajon. The market was pretty nice too we got few pots and a pressure cooker. Definitely coming back."
