"I went to the Consulate in Long Beach today to get 3 travel Visas. I was told when I arrived the Visas cost $55/per person, payable only in cash. I looked at the Visas when I was handed them, and they actually cost only $35/pp but I was also charged $20 in fees per Visa. I asked for a receipt and was told they didn't give receipts, that "the $35 USD noted on each Visa serves as your receipt." I asked for a service fee receipt but was told they didn't give receipts. The representative asked me why I needed one. We then had a discussion about what it would have cost me to get a Visa on arrival, and he claimed he didn't know how much it would cost, but that I might have to stand in line with a 100 people. I should have done better research, but I expected much more from our local Consulate. I wonder how they account for that cash internally or with the IRS with no record keeping??"

"Zero response rate. Called and left a voicemail on the number listed about two weeks ago, no response. Sent a message on their Facebook page, no response. I wonder if anyone is working here at all or they're just simply wasting government's money making a front of running a consulate. Anyone got a phone number of Minister of Foreign Affairs should let him know the quality of services people here are providing to the public."
