"Hey TJ’s, local shopper here!! I brought in the dark chocolate almond butter filled pretzel nuggets and the cinnamon bun inspired Joe-joes to celebrate our first weekly team building experience called “Trader Joe’s Tuesdays.” Overall the experience was great!! I feel more bonded to my coworkers post, and look forward to trying some more of your snacks, as we continue to bond as a staff!! "

"I came in on New Year's Eve within the last hour of closing and things were pleasantly more calm than I'd expected them to be. The employees were restocking produce since a lot of items were sold out or low in stock, but despite that the employees looked happy and were all pretty helpful when needed."

"I have been going to this Trader Joe’s for a few years now but I must say the quality of the items is deteriorating. The last few weeks the vegetables I have purchased aren’t lasting more than a day or 2 and “Best Buy” dates are a couple weeks out food is already rotten. I suggest taking a look at the product before your employees put out on the shelf. Also last couple bunches of flowers I bought I took the plastic off and half the flowers are dying. Disappointed!"

"I have been a long time Trader Joe's shopper since I live in Chicago 2009 so when I move to East Lake in 2014- I was happy found Trader Joe's East Lake. I recently moved to LaJolla be close to my work but I would still make the drive from LaJolla to Trader Joe's Eastlake every weekend. Today, I did my usual 45min drive to Trader Joe's in Eastlake but so disappointed with the new staff in the freezer section ( young, blond, short young lady) esp when I told her I found an open box of Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese. She is a new staff & obviously need training in Trader Joe's best customer service; because her response to me was rude, curt, nasty with attitude & uncalled for: "Its just an open box." I was surprised at her response for I have never received this rude, curt, obnoxious response from any Trader Joe's. And who wants to buy a product that is open esp food product. I informed the manager & hope they address this & give her training on customer service esp Trader Joe's flagship & proud themselves on excellent customer service. I am now thinking that it's not worth 1 hr drive from LaJolla to get this nasty, rude, unprofessional service I received today from Trader Joe's Eastlake, Sunday, Oct 22 from Trader Joe's Eastlake. Very disappointing. I will also tell my friends & family the rude, obnoxious treatment I received today- young, blond lady at the freezer section. The good thing is kudos to Elena at check out for excellent customer service. Trader Joe's Eastlake need more staff like you. LaJolla LaJolla LaJolla"
