Costco Wholesale

"Look, I love Costco. I enjoy traveling to different Costcos throughout San Diego. I recently moved to Chula and this Costco is now my home Costco. I’m so sad. The parking lot is always a mess. Gas station line is a horrible. They need more workers ensuring the flow of traffic in and out of the gas station. Less organic/healthy options at this Costco. I’ll drive 30 minutes to a different Costco just to have a more relaxing Costco experience. Please do better!"

"Hot dog and soda for $1.50,who.can beat that deal? New ordering stations, order, pay, then wait for your number to be called. Staff is still robotic with little to no emotion, looks like they don't like their job, zero customer service, no changes to orders (sold as is, take it or leave it) mentality. All about volume. Great for a quick bite to eat at a reasonable price."

"This review is not for Costco as a whole, but for this location only. This is the closest Costco to me and I dread going to this location. It is always packed. It is packed even before it opens. The parking lot is so difficult to get around and find a spot. It doesn't matter what time or what day you go, this location just seems to just always be filled with shoppers. The employees at this location are not friendly and not helpful, which is very surprising for any Costco location. This location does not have as much variety as other locations and they do not get the newer products in as often.The food court is not the best. They don't have a microphone and you can never hear what number they are calling out. The workers are always rushing around, yelling and just pushing the food out at you. I try to avoid this location when I can."

"I’m confused because I understand helpfulness but self checkout is a good option for people who do not want to talk or deal with people, but they had a lady staffed there who didn’t even ask if I needed help she just pushed herself into my personal space and was scanning things for me. She had on a white top. Thought she was trying to be helpful at first but ended up confusing me. I didn’t have heavy items and I am a male perfectly capable of lifting up a small bag of rice but she came in and started doing it for me. She was not doing this to anyone else, which is a problem because why Me? Are you not liking my physical appearance? As a retail employee you’re not supposed to treat me differently because I look different than you. I was going to scan my items and she walks up and just starts scanning stuff and I lose track of what was scanned. This is not helpful at this point and because of her an item went unscrambled but I caught it because I made sure I read the screen and receipt to see if things were there. I’m assuming her intentions were to harass me for some reason? She didn’t even know what was scanned when I asked her. She just made a face at me like I was dumb."
