"I have been a loyal customer of Hard Luck Tattoo for nearly 20 years because the owner, Bao, has been my tattoo consultant. I have traveled from San Francisco to Lodi to get body art from Bao because he is creative and talented tattooist with 30 years of experience under his belt. Bao is one of the best in the business because he understands human anatomy, body contour, tattoo placement, and color schemes. When Bao is tattooing me, he is kind, empathic, professional; most importantly, he is soft handed when laying down the ink. For me, getting inked is a transformative process because each piece is time stamped and represents a specific period in my life.
